I can't write a full review on The BeerMongers because we didn't have a chance to have a beer on tap while there but its a great place to stop after Apex or maybe just skipping Apex all together if you don't have cash... Its up to you!!!
I liked the bottle selection, I found a bottle of the Tahoe brewing Party boy brett ipa. Ive been looking for this beer for awhile now but have only found it at crazy prices. BeerMongers had it a great price, so i had to have it. Oh yeah I got a really cool Lagunitas waldo special poster for free while i was there, that was pretty nice of them to give to me! The perfect stop-off after a visit to the Apex across the street. Very small and tight with a bar vibe. Lots of happy drinkers, great beer selection in coolers. Spotted a case of Sucaba, months after the release, so I had to get a bottle. A better place to buy rather than drink. For drinking, go across to the Apex.

One of my favorite beer destinations in Portland. The bottle selection is outstanding and the 8 drafts are always strong.

I visited Beermongers recently on a vacation through the Pacific Northwest.

V: Pretty standard bottle shop with a bar vibe.

Ser: I was not acknowledged during my visit until I was at the register.

Sel: Small shop, however, they did have a few unique offerings I did not find anywhere else.

Overall, not really a must stop in Portland, but since you have to go to Apex during your visit to Portland, you might as well stop in here too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dropped in during the tail end of CBC2015, was poured a beer from Logsdon and grabbed a bottle from Gigantic.

While we love Logsdon they beer that was served looked like a milkshake at best and should not have been served.

The place was a bit of a mess, I get it ... it was busy but not the time we go there, dirty glassware everywhere. Little things someone should stay on top of for a place the know their beer.

 

 

 

Super impressed with both the selection and the staff!

Maybe my favorite place in town to grab a beer. Awesome selection of bottles at affordable prices either to go or to drink in shop. Tap selection is also very good, with usually some unique and diverse options. Service is usually pretty good, but there are some bartenders who are more friendly than others. Overall, a pretty laid back place to get a beer with friends.

 

 

Good beer geek vibe, good but not large selection of bottles (stored in cool fridges) and craft drinks on tap with friendly service. The thing that makes this place stand out is it has lower prices on bottles to go than any other bottles shop in town.

 

Overrated. Worthless, customer service. Disappointing selection. Reasonable prices but on beer that I find undesirable.

 

 

fun spot. smaller than some other bottle shops but the cases are "Stacked" with nice stuff. The few taps are always pumping rare shit.

 

 

Another stop while in Portland. This place appeared to be more of a local joint. Bottle selection was great. They had several beers that Belmont Station did not have. Slightly higher prices though. Staff was friendly once you got them talking.
