I think I got you beat. $6.99 for an 18er.
These are excellent for the price. What is that? Less than 40 cents a piece? I dont think the rating scale on this site does this particular beer justice. There should be a "bargain" rating. For that this beer would be a "5".

12oz clear bottle with no freshness date.

Surprisingly two fingers of head rises and stays, clear pale yellow color. Faint aromas of cooked veggies and buttery diacetyl. Thin and dry body with a single dimension of malt on the palate. Hops? Quick tinge of bitterness but no flavor at all. Clean dry finish.

Nothing going on with this beer, clean but flavorless for the most part.

12 oz. bottle... out of the bottle (not worthy of a glass).

An extremely cheap beer... ~$7.00 per 12-pack. The only place I've seen this is at Fresh & Easy (aka UK's Tesco trying to do Trader Joe's). Perfectly clear bottle... yay. :-/

Appearance: Clear golden-yellow color. White head has decent retention, for this type of beer.

Smell: Corn 'n malts. Pretty mild.

Taste: There's plenty of corn in the flavor, together with malts. Hardly exciting, but still decent for this style. Mild aftertaste with a slightly bitter taste.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied, minimal carbonation. Pretty smooth.

Drinkability: For this type of beer, it's pretty drinkable. Probably a moderate ABV around 5%, I'd guess.

Fairly typical light-colored lager from Central/South America. In general, that means "beers that aren't so great". But, actually one of the better ones I've had. Light years ahead of Corona. I'd rank this somewhere around Imperial or Tecate, both decent.

$8 for an 18 pack, had to give it a try.

The first sip reminded me of bud light, perhaps? I don't drink bud light on a regular basis. Subsequent cans revealed a taste of it's own with no stand out characteristics. I will simply say that for the price, it's drinkable.

Taurino will likely be the choice to provide at my parties exclusively for Flipcup and Beerpong usage.

Contacted World Brews Novato, CA to ask about ABV, was informed it was 4.6 - 4.7.

wow I just had to do a second report on this beer. My last review stated that this was not a tasty beer, but good to drink a lot of. I could not have been more wrong! While it does not get you drunk (I had 11 of them last night). The alcohol by volume is unknown, but... I have never has the shits so bad in my life from drinking beer. It is the worst after beer (non hangover) experience I have ever had. Stay away from this brew! I will never drink this again... Ever!

This is what my wife and I got trashed on the night of our first date. Re-drinking it now to take a trip down memory lane...

Poured from a 12-oz can into a snifter.... because I enjoy inconsistencies.

Appearance - Straw yellow, touching on the outer rim of transparent. Poured with about a 1/4" of head that dissapated in under 30 seconds. Highly effervescent.

Smell - Overall, weak. And yet it is astringent and abrasive. Maybe the slight hint of grain or malt, maybe a little sweet, but it carries so poorly it gets lost.

Taste - Lightly bitter, kind of tastes like you just drank some mineral water that had a cigarrette soaking in it. Salty.

Drinkability - If you're looking to get drunk fast, toss three or four of these in a beer bong... possibly repeat that once or twice. If you're looking to enjoy drinking a beer, get something else.

Overall - It is like drinking nothing at all. It is definitely not anything like a "cerveza," as the can claims. I must say it is the cheapest beer I've ever bought, they were less than 50 cents a piece since I bought an 18 pack for $7.99. The problem is... I have to drink it now.

Poured from a clear bottle to a pint glass.

The color is very pale yellow with a quickly dissapating head.

There is really no aroma to speak of on this beer. Possibly a little grain...

The taste is also pretty non existant. a slightly malty/sour twang at the finish but thats about it. Very little sweetness and no hop bitterness to speak of.

Overall, I think there are better options out there.

This beer is really easy to drink, almost too easy, I'm not sure if there's any alcohol content at all, I had 4 in about an hours time and felt nothing. As someone already said, I had the madd shits after this so drinker beware, your backside won't be happy!

I picked up a 12 pack at my local Fresh & Easy for about $7 to give it a shot. While I was able to drink the entire batch down, I won't likely be revisiting it unless my income drops.

It's a drinkable cheap beer with a metallic decent-lasting head, sickly yellow coloring and a metallic finish. I've had much better, but I've also had worse.

This was given to me by a colleague, broken from an 18 pack that goes for a staggering price of $6.99 (!!) I felt this was too good not to check out. Granted, I expect nothing but horribleness, but I hope that it will be a better bargain than anticipated. Poured out of a 12oz can into a pokal glass.

Straw yellow in color, and about as boring as a beer can look. Not totally bad, however - there's a frothy white head that leaves behind some sticky good lacing, as well as a massive burst of bubbles and head retention that makes it above average for the style. Definitely treads some new ground for the most adventurous Keystone Light drinker on the block.

Smells of cooked vegetables (most notably corn, carrots, and celery), as well as a brief funky banana ester and some buttery off notes. White grapes, toffee, and cane sugar. Not the worst I've come across - your average Miller drinker will definitely find the nuances enticing and newfound as far as the potential of beer can go.

Tastes extraordinarily mild and simple, almost to the point that the people that brewed this honestly had to try very hard to dumb a beer down to this degree. A brief toffee and powdered sugar sweetness coats the palate with some corn syrup, faded barley crispness, as well as a little bit of the funky green banana profile I was picking up in the nose. Very mild, and ends with a brief cardboard (or baking soda) bland and seltzer-y feel that is common to the style. It's definitely cardboard of high quality, though, and recommended for those that enjoy snorting bath salts and chewing up inoffensive, simple everyday packaging supplies. Slightly creamy, with some good carbonation, and goes down like water that's been soaking cornbread for several days and then sweetened and filtered afterwards. Highly recommended for Budweiser drinkers looking for something that takes beer drinking to the next level.

This is perhaps the greatest bland bargain on the market for the price - but, come on, is it really for savoring and drinking? This is a primary chugging beer at its finest - which is further confirmed as the vegetable notes get more predominant as this warms up. Not the worse I've had in the style, but phenomenally generic and boring, even for an AAL.

Nowhere on any can or packaging is alcohol % mentioned. Website claims ABV 4.6%.

Appearance: Gold, deeper than straw by 1/2 tonal tic. Moderate head at first pour, some head island still intact after half an hour.

Smell: Pleasant, somewhat distant maltese.

Taste: Surprisingly creamy. Appealing. Slight tongue-coating for 10 seconds. Very slight complexity.

Drink after drink: Holds up well, but my beer limit is 2.5 in two hours, so look for others who review chugability.

Blind Test factor: If you poured six little two ounce servings of five highly-rated, double-this-price beers for your friends and neighbors, with the only identifier being a number, I would expect Taurino to be in the top 2 or 3 from half of them. If I do that, I’ll follow up here with a report.

Value: My purchase 6-21-13 at Pavillions was $9.99 for 18 cans. Or pre-taxes: $0.555 each. I will buy it again and again.

With their bull logo, they deserve to be a regular taurus attraction.

This beer is surprisingly similar to the Mexican's Corona, if you have a party and don't want to fork out a lot of cash pick these up. I paid 7.99 at my local fresh and easy store (California) for a 12 pack an used in replace of Corona. Normal every day drinkers will not know the difference once you put out a bowl of limes. If you're into craft beers save your money not for you. This is my choice when I'm slumming it or if I want to bring drinks to a party I don't want to attend. Try a side by side taste test Corona vs Taurino for argument sakes at a party boy do corona lovers get offended. Lol have fun drink responsibly. Oh and all beers taste better from a bottle just a thought stay away from the cans.
