Can from Whole Foods. Good looking pour,r bright golden, active carbonation, big fluffy head. Aroma and taste are your normal grainy, adjunct flavors , slightly vegetal. Starts out great looking, ends up kind of Blech.

$3.99 at Whole Foods. What to expect? Paint thinner.

This is literally the worst beer I’ve ever had. It looks, smells and tastes like sour urine.
And to top it all off their logo seems to be some not too vague homage to communism?

There are three go-figures about this lager.
First, it was $4 for a sixer at Whole Pay-check Foods.
Second, the can/package is retro without being so since the brew is 7 years old.
Third, it is brewed (possibly on contract by Gold Mine Brews) in Rochester NY... hardly a distribution network for a national grocer. I tried to go on the brewers website and it is a Parked Domain... which I interpret as not existing. Who are these guys?
Mysteries aside, this is a good value but an OK lager that is reasonably refreshing.
Looks a decent golden. Smells and Tastes of mixed malt and faint hops. Also sits in the mouth OK. Clean finish.

Pours a clear golden yellow with moderate head. Resolves to thin lacing.
Smell is a sweet corn syrup with a hint of apple.
Taste starts slightly sweet followed by grainy malt and a mildly bitter finish.
Not as bad as expected for a generic type lager.

As good as an AAL gets. 3.50 for a six pack? All day, every day.

So pale, so yellow. It smells like creamed corn. So far it seems like a bad idea. Total macro adjunct lager taste but pretty light and smooth. Serious tailgater here. Hobo campfire time. No finish. Bubbles. Carbonation finish. That is all.

12 oz can served in a pint glass.
Looks and smells like a standard American "yellow fizzy" beer albeit with a relatively large and fluffy white head.
Light flavor with mild bitterness. Clean and refreshing but with very limited flavor. Crisp dry finish.
Overall: Meek but more than acceptable as a hot day work beer.

This beer is cheap as fuck and get the job done. Great beer! Highly recommend it for drinking games.

From BeerAdvocate Magazine #84 (Jan 2014):
Another no-frills-labeled beer from World Brews, not too far off from “Generic Beer,” but the price tag of less than $4 a six-pack is what this beer is about. And to think this beer is being sold at Whole Foods, go figure.
STYLE: American Adjunct Lager
ABV: 4.5%
AVAILABILITY: Year-round
LOOK: Crystal-clear pale yellow straw, lacing struggles
SMELL: Grainy, dried grass, corn syrup, faintly herbal
TASTE: Big crispness, clean, lighter bodied, mild hop bitterness, grassy, faint cereal grain, hint of corn syrup, one dimensional hop character; dry, semi-clean finish

A pretty crappy macro lager. Metallic, sweet corn dust - basically a Coors.
