Tried this on cask today at the brewery. Pours a murky orange or light brown with a half finger cream colored head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, some extra sweet that isn’t identifiable as chocolate. Flavor follows with more subdued spices relative to the Swampy Hollow base, some pumpkin, a wheaty flavor, and a hint of extra richness/sweetness that I assume is from the chocolate. Low to medium carbonation and medium palate, slightly dry but not as much as the base itself. Overall I just didn’t get much chocolate here, but enjoyed this variant more than the over spiced base pumpkin ale.
