Sitting in the Wetlands tasting room sipping this one. $6 for a snifter, but worth it. Nice dark body, creamy head, a lot of lace on the glass, doesn't go away. Nose is earthy and dirty and hoppy. Somewhat like ginger sharpness. Very appealing. Taste is hops all over. Very very hoppy. The alcohol comes through in the finish, but only barely as the hops punch the throat. The barley malt toastiness is there, but hops are taking the gold medal here. Very drinkably, just a well done Black IPA. Very well done.
