Long time coming but worth the wait. We got the first beer from the first keg at World of Beer in Viera, Fl.
Delightful citrusy hop aroma. Nicely balanced fresh hops with enough malt. Slightly astringent. Poor head retention - no lace. (new keg?)
Second one is even better - nice head and some lace. Very drinkable beer. Glad to see Swamphead get it's distribution going. New fav.

12oz undated can poured into a pint glass shows a cloudy dark orange/copper body with a thin cap of tight, white bubbles that leaves copious leopard skinned lacing.
Aroma includes pine resin, and grapefruit and orange fruit and piths.
Flavor is dominated by robust fruity, piney hops but a bready malt forms a solid backbone.
Full mouthfeel falls just short of chewy, and finishes clean, with just a hint of citrus remaining.
Overall a pleasure to drink.

12oz canned 7-23-23, opened 8-21-23.
One finger off white head with good retention. Orange / copper body with clarity. Full lacing clings the whole way down.
Orange peel, some weedy undertones and a prominent caramel / bready malt aroma. Big IPA with bold hop and malt flavors. Leans WC with big citrus hops and caramel malts all the way. Medium body and carbonation with a big, prickly hop punch followed by a dry finish. Very Good.

Burnt orange, big head. Smells kinda funky and tropical. Hopefully still decent as it was packaged on 6/24/21 and consumed almost a year later on 5/14/22. No discernible off notes while drinking so, so far so good! Moderately refreshing with a malty body.

Classic, comforting and siding on the slightly stronger side, Swamp Head's flagship IPA cozies up with Centennial, Cascade and Columbus hops for a bold, bitter and familiar taste that's basically a security blanket for the tastebuds of Florida hopheads.
Hazy copper and well headed with a creamy bone-white froth, Big Nose IPA soon soothes the senses with a caramelized hop scent that's highlighted with citrus, floral and herbal aromas. But the early impressions are lead by caramelized grains that share a firm suggestion of honey, nuttiness and toast to simulate granola.
Not to be outplayed, the hops take over the middle palate with a traditional taste of grapefruit and orange peel. Racy in its taste, the citrusy character slowly develops into a sharply resinous bitterness that's shaped like pine, pepper and a pleasant grassiness. With hints of citrus and herb mingling about, suggestions of hemp and gin leave lasting impressions on the late palate.
Medium bodied and edging slightly to the fuller side in both flavor and body, Big Nose finishes dryly resinous with a strong hop spice and a more midwestern type of balance while leaving a long and aggressive bitterness in aftertaste that far outlasts other flavors. Its a classic IPA that's simply comforting for old school hopheads.

Poured from an undated 16 oz can
Fairly clear copper color, creamy 1 inch head, nice veiling and lacing
Aroma of roasted malts and citrus
Taste is malty and tropical
Mouthfeel is kind of resinous medium carbonation and lingering bitterness
For a beer that gets pretty bitter fast it’s really very drinkable.

Right off the bat your nose draws in a hoppy and citrus aroma, the color can be compared to copper and orange. The mouth feel is medium, slightly creamy but the taste is one of fruit and citrus with a mild hop taste. If you’re in the FLA and it’s on tap don’t be afraid to thumb your Big Nose up at this one.
