Great IPA, very drinkable, clean and clear. Hoppy all the way through.

First beer advocate review. Fabulous IPA from the tap at Big Lou's in Gainesville. Go Gators.

Lots of grapefruit and citrus flavor. The name suits the scent. Very fruity. Not a whole lot of hops but packed with juicy fruit flavored and citrus. There seems to be a lot of malt sweetness on the back, but it fits the grapefruit well. Overall very decent and hope to drink again soon.

I recieved this can in a trade as an extra. It was a pleasant surprise, as I had never heard of this brewery before. As a New Englander, it's hard for me to find an IPA that rivals the NE hops, but this one would be a wonderful treat when and if I'm ever in Florida. The taste is well balanced; it's not overly bitter, but it still packs a punch you'd expect from this style. Great citrus aromas. Overall, a good tasting brew.

pours hazy golden amber with a large cream colored head, smells of pine citrus grapefruit with a slight malty sweetness, tastes of hoppy grapefruit with a fair malt backing with a candi or syrup like sweetness with a dry bitter grapefruit finish and slight hint of bubblegum, mouthfeel is moderate with slight carbonation.

L: Dark amber

S: Fruity floral hops, orange peel, grass

T: Almost perfect. A little on the sweet side. Malt backbone is very present. There is something so comforting about this IPA. It's sweet, fruity, and herbal - but none of these qualities are too pushy. After taste is dry, but still a bit of sweetness lingers, but nowhere near cloying.

F: Medium carbonation and mouthfeel is smooth and creamy for an IPA. Reminds me Resin from sixpoint.

O: Almost perfect...As far as tradional East Coast IPA's go, it is perfect. Sweet 'n smooth. It's that IPA to give to friend who doesn't like IPA's and it's brewed less than 40 miles from my house. Will be seeking out again.

I live in Gainesville and since they started canning this beer I've kept a six pack in my fridge at all times. This is the beer that got me into IPA's and is the one I recommend to all my friends that don't like the bitterness of IPA's. The malt sweetness gives this beer a great profile and openness to more casual beer drinkers.
