Served from 12 oz can into pint glass. Pours a 1" white head that drops quickly with plenty of lacing. Color is hazy yellow. Aroma of grassy hops and biscuit. Flavor of cracker, biscuit, lemon, grassy hops and a slight soapy characteristic. While it is no Pilsner Urquell, this is a very decent bohemian pilsner.

12 oz can, enjoyed at the park, go figure! Crisp, clean, with a bit of a hop bite on the finish, as expected for this style. I've enjoyed all the Mother Earth beers I got on a recent visit to Kinston, definitely worth going to if in the area.

Nose bready malt, lemon, crackers, floral hops, pepper, grainy, faint herbal, light carbo. Taste moderately sweet malt, grains, doughy, slight cider bitterness, grass, light body.

Solid pilsener with an excellent taste. There is an extra punch to the taste of this brew that sets it apart from the competition in this style. The malts and hops used provide some extra character not found in other conventional pilsners that push this beer over the top for me. It's got a classic/traditional pilsener flavor while maintaining a clean simple overall profile that you don't get with all beers from the pilsner family.
Good job.

Man, I used to love this style. It's been a while since I've tried a new one. Pours a standard gold color into my World Beer Festival (natch) pilsner glass. Not much for head. That's a touch disappointing. The nose is kind of underwhelming as well, with mushy bread malts and some light noble hopping that develops a little more spice and bite as it warms.
Unlike the nose, intensity of flavor is not the problem in the taste. Big, bold Saaz flavors, undercut by the biscuit malt. Some fruit tones appear early, before getting swept away by the hops. Decent mouth feel and texture. A relative lack of carbonation really helps expose you to the flavor, which is mostly a good thing. I got a heavy dose of metallic tinge in my first sip, but I either got used to it or it mostly went away in subsequent quaffs.
Interesting, and a little unbalanced, but definitely enough net positives to recommend to fans of the style.

Good balance; nice floral hops. Great with spring brunch.
