From a bottle pours as a slightly hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy. Taste also is a bitter hops-forward with some sweet malt plus citrus and spice notes.

12 oz bottle, drank straight from it, at a recent stay at The O'Neil in Kinston, NC. I always enjoy a well-balanced IPA, and can always go to a good West Coast or NE/East Coast style IPA as well. Amber color, malt forward at first, with a nice lingering bitter finish.

Look - 3.75 – Hazy straw color, little head upon the pour. Color is great but I really was disappointed by the head.

Smell – 4.25 – Smells hoppy; pine resin a little citrus. Detecting the bready malt smells as well. Smells great!

Taste – 4.25 – Initial hop kick with that piney bitterness and crisp citrus flavors washing over my tongue. Has awesome malt backbone that overpowers the hop bitterness at the end

Feel- 3.75 – Smooth mouth feel, light to moderate carbonation. Very crisp and smooth when first poured, after five minutes becomes heavier and more warm alcohol feel to it.

Overall- 4 – Great hop character balanced with malty goodness makes for an overall good brew.
