Endless River has a very thick, white head, a hazy, golden-straw appearance, and lots of heavy lacing splotches left behind. The aroma is of pungent, spicy hops and pale barley malt. Taste is of sweet, biscuit malt, soda cracker, and bold, grassy hops. Mouthfeel is low-medium, and Endless River finishes crisp and highly drinkable. RJT

Nice pale gold with a quickly fading white head. The smell is grainy and bright with perhaps s bit of lemon. The taste is pleasantly sweet with a lemon and wheat taste with a really nice bitter finish. This is a fine beer that is well balanced.

Have had it both from tap and from a bottle. If buying from a bottle it needs to be poured into a glass, do not drink from the bottle. Crisp kolsch that lives up to the style well. Easy all day drinker that paired well with west NC barbque. Would buy this again.

Poured into a Double Barley can-shaped glass. Label says Bottled On: 092115

A- Pours a semi-hazy dark golden color with a 1/2 inch white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of surface foam. Not-so-resilient lacing leaves tiny specs behind.

S- Surprisingly fruity aroma reminds me somewhat of a Belgian. The usual grainy, bready malt character you get from lagers (yes, I know it's technically an ale style). Hint of banana.

T- Again, there's an undeniable fruity ester presence in this that's more akin to a Belgian pale than a Kolsch. Dryer than a BPA, yes, but the yeasty quality is certainly there. Again, a hint of banana plus a touch of bubble gum.

M- Crisp and clean with medium carbonation and a lightish body.

O- Though not necessarily brewed to style, this is a good, easy-drinking yet flavorful take on a Kolsch that I would certainly recommend to anyone that likes a more mild ale or even lager.
