A: Poured into my DFH signature glass. Pours a cloudy straw/yellow color with a bright white head, about one finger in height. Spotty white lacing.

S: Light wheat aroma and orange peel, some grass and some light spices.

T: The spices come through stronger on the flavor profile than the aroma. There is a nice coriander/pepper flavor as well as some orange, orange peel, and a light bready malt profile.

M: Light to medium bodied with solid carbonation.

O: Quite enjoyable and extremely easy drinking. A nice lighter beer that is refreshing and a great warm weather beer.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with half an inch of thick, creamy head that has good retention. The nose is very yeasty with some lemony aromas. The taste is smooth with lemon, yeast, coriander up front and heavy orange notes in the finish. It's a little sweet. It's lightly carbonated and light bodied.

This is an easy drinking, light, summery beer. It's brewed to style though a little heavy on the orange zest. As far as witbiers go, I would get this again.

Had a bottle at North Banks Restaurant in Corolla, NC. This light and spicy beer went nicely with my shrimp and clams. It's a very standard American-made wit. It's a bit overspiced and there isn't much subtly. It's a simple, but tasty, beer that may not match its Belgian counterparts, but it worth trying at least once.
