Poured into a pokal, the appearance was a soft semi-glossy semi-transparent bronzed color. It had a quickly dissipating finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off fairly quick to leave some spotty lace sticking to the sides of the glass.
The aroma plays with a fine blend of sweet peach flesh and a little bit of clean sour to tart skin. Light clean funk (somewhat grassy with a touch of lactic character).
The flavor brought the sweet peachy flesh forward toppling the funk to brighten some of the sour and tartness. Light sticky sour to tart peachy aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about light to medium bodied with a fine sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt as projected. Finish was quite refined pulling the sour to the sweet side of the stickiness and playing with some acidic character that felt really nice.
Overall, very nicely done lambic with authentic peach character telling me that I would love to come back to this preferably in the Summer.

Believe it or not, I had this in Singapore... a Muslim country that does not import a lot of beer.
Its effect on me was much better than the ratings... maybe because Singapore was hotter than hell.

Peach colored peach beer in here. Mild 1/2" white head. Aroma is sweet fruit, nothing in terms of lambic bugs in here. Darn.

Taste has a little sour, too much sweet though, going into Lindemens territory here. Too much viscosity.

Below average lambic, average to slightly above average fruit beer. Decently priced.

A- Pours a golden/brown/peach/orange color with a decent 2 finger head at first that quickly dissipates into a thin film over the brew. the lacing is good on this one, as there is a mountainous ridge of foam that clings to the side of my glass! As for the carbonation, much like the premium Framboise, this one too has champagne like bubbly goodness that is easy to agitate upon swirling ever so slightly....a decent looking lambic for sure!

S- I really like the aromas found here.....yeasty biscuit, gentle peaches and cream, malt and candied sweetness, fresh fruit and just an ever so slight bittering finish.

T- This is nice! Flavors follow the aromas fairly closely, but with a tart accent! Refreshing peach fruit/pit, and creamy, mild flesh. The funky wild yeast/bacteria add a zingy flavor that is very rustic, but pleasant, and this reminds me of a revved up spritzer! The finish is relatively clean but does have a bit of a lingering aftertaste that keeps my palate wanting more!

M/O- Light and refreshing, with a funky sour zest that only enhances the fruitiness! Highly drinkable and I could enjoy many of these in a sitting....I enjoyed this with a peach tart and boy was it wonderful! The sweet and sour characteristics of both just blended so well! I recommend this one and will buy again!

Aroma is peaches along with a background of funk. The flavor is peaches, fruit, malts, mild earthiness/dirty and a mix of tart and sweet in the finish.

I'm going to go way against the grain with this review; from what others have said about this beer I fear a number of people have gotten overly-old or mishandled bottles, or something. Anyway, here we go. Notes from a serving off a tap at the great Beer Trappe in Lexington, KY.

Pours a nice, slightly peach-colored golden color, with a fluffy white head that persists for a minute or more and leaves a very persistent lacing.

Smells appetizing tart and very much of peaches, with hints of spice and a vague grassiness, most likely from what few hops were included.

The taste is, quite simply, bang-up what I want from a flavored lambic, but rarely get. Very forward in its flavoring, a very natural, only slightly sweet peach flavor up front is matched beautifully by an appetizing, vinegary tartness and a surprisingly assertive funkiness. Slight hints of herbs, including lemon-balm and mint, can be detected behond the dueling peach and tart/funky flavors that dominate. The flavors are in such great balance that the beer stays deliciously drinkavle, aided by a medium-light body and a nice level of carbonation. Surprisingly complex, refreshing, and delicious as hell.
