Poured into dimpled seidel. No head. Darkest of red shades. Nose is a cherry bomb, part syrup part cherry cola. The taste is likewise, with some fig and anise notes as well. Syrupy smooth, hides its booze well. The Stevia gives the aftertaste an unwelcome artificiality, but it doesn't overpower. but Not a lot else going on here but deep dark cherry ale, which sometimes is all you need.

Amber red almost brown in color. Nose isn't super bitter, but dies offer a bit of sour notes. Taste is super sweet. Nice flavor and cannot believe the high Abv.

On tap. Listedat 8% Abv. Rich dark red hue. Aromas of mashed black cherries and cocoa. Rich Cherry flavours followed by chocolate cake. Ironically I had this to top off dinner. Didn't know this existed until I read the beer menu (60 brews on tap, cmon). Anyway, I read this is cherry infused. Not into fruited brews per se but this was bravissimo. If you don't care for cherries do not even try this. I'm sure taste between bottle and draught makes a difference.

Pours like a coke cola, fairly flat headed and very much like a pop, a real shame, but how do you make this type of brew look good?

Aroma is superb, cherries come through, but you do still get that deep scent of the donker....truly a great mix.

Taste is just as good as the aroma, a lovely cherry sweetness but not overly sour, as you get the fig from the donker. An unusual mix, but definitely makes for a great brew.

Feel is a touch fizzy to be honest, but that does allow the aftertaste of mild cherries to linger.

Overall, this has to be the best cherry infused Belgian, not an out and out fruit beer by any means given its mix with the legendary donker, but one I highly recommend.

Do yourself a favour, and delve into to the pinnacle of fruit infused brews!

Amber to dark ruby colored. There's a the faintest trace of brown head about the size of a quarter in the middle. The aroma is of dark cherries. The flavor is a bit odd. Think dark cherries and artificial sugar. As it warms it turns a bit more cherry pie. The mouth is heavily carbonated and dry.
