From the bottle, it pours a darker golden color with a nice head, replenished by large bubbles coming up from the bottom. Nose is caressed bread and yeast. Mouth gets a bit of cider, some malt and some alcohol. Easy to drink, beware!

A nutty, yeasty morsel from my favorite Top 10 Belgian brewery.
I defer to MJ's "Guide": "lots of Saaz hoppiness and some yeast bite." He gave it 2.5

WOW! OK, I've stated before, I'm NOT a beer snob, I'm not a connoisseur of beer. Big Daddy either likes it, or he don't like. Big Daddy likes this one. If it we consistently available this would easily become one of my first "Go-To" biers. I've bought one .75 liter bottle just to try it and all I can say it that I find this vary agreeable over all. I'll be going back for more. Thanks Buddies. Did I ever tell all you guys how much I love you? Did I ever tell you how much I love spell check once I've started drinking and begin writing bier reviews? Peace Out, xx, me

MEH! Not much going on here, all of the elements of a Belgian ale, but nothing stands out. Decent, but not outstanding. The label lured me in, and then stole my money.

Pours a rich gold colour. Smells light and fruity, slightly sweet and malty. Tastes like it smells. Very drinkable for 9%. Tastes like an old recipe beer.

Boozy but still classy belgian pale ale.
Jeast, bread and fresh hops. Lots of better belgian pales than this.

Head strong, but quickly falls but remains to the end. White color.
The aroma is honey, plum and slightly sour.
This Brigand'a taste fried plums, honey, but with less intensity than in the aroma, slightly noticeable alcohol. Gently bitter, sour but not acidity. After heating strongly perceptible alcohol, flavor and fragrances are stronger and deeper.
Alcohol is warming nicely. Brigand is definitely worth your attention.
