A Medellin brew picked up in Bogota, let's give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a funky raw pretzel smell. Pours to a foggy yellow with a bright white head with multi size bubbles that lace light as they recede. On the taste this brew is very sharp and tarty with a light smokiness. Almost like a sharp Chardonnay wine type flavor on the beer scale. The mouthfeel is spot on. This would be a great brew for spicy food or strong tasting fish.

A: Pours copper with a thin white head. Nothing crazy, but it looks fine.

S: Interesting... Smells way fruitier than I expect from the style. Persimmon, minneola and some damp wheat notes. Not necessarily gross, but definitely not what I was expecting.

T: This just doesn't taste good. Wet bread and rotten persimmon notes right off the bat with a touch of ginger and clove. Fades away into a damp day old bagel note. Just doesn't taste good at all.

Golden color with a sweet aroma of biscuit and vanilla, and hints of floral hops.
Refreshing taste of malt and floral hops. Short dry aftertaste, mildly bitter.
Light body with good carbonation.
Average Helles, though fairly faithful to style being skewed to the lighter side and with a nice tingling sensation.
