A: dark copper color, clear, little head.
S: Fruity, like stonefruit, Cali hop aroma. Poured in a small pint glass instead of a tulip, which would have made a difference in smell
T: very hoppy, citrusy and balanced with the malt. Thankfully, not sweet
M: surprisingly not very heavy or hot with alcohol. went down a little too easy...

Pours a deep ruby amber color clear with a small tan head that falls to a ring with some spotty lace. Nice color on this one.
Aroma is deep caramel malts light hop aroma and some ripe fruits, kind of strange don't think I have ever smelled a barleywine with a subdued nose its not that its bad but its sure not big.
Taste is big lots of caramel malts nice sweet body with lots of hops. Have big citrus notes lingering grapefruit with tobacco hints and nice underlying bitterness through out the finish. Nice favorable brew big and tasty some alcohol spiciness peaks out in the flavor but no notable alcohol burn to distract.
Mouthfeel is nice big and chewy treat with nice mellow carbonation level.
Overall its pretty tasty brew nice color good flavor a big brew that's quite drinkable only knock is the aroma is too subdued not bad just not a big bw nose.
