Excellent selection of quality craft brews (and wine, too) at excellent prices. We've moved a gazillion times and we found many of our favorites from all over the country in this location. Natchitoches is a pretty small town, and this store (don't be deceived by the two-lane drive thru) has some of the best quality beers we've found short of the giant mega-marts of beer (e.g., BevMo!, Total Wine and More). I've heard there are beer pairing dinners, too - that's on our radar.

Hey it is Natchitoches, my home town, but it is my go to place to score some Great Raft releases and also some obscure Goose Island stuff. Rolled in last November and they had like 4 4 packs of Bourbon County Stout, plus they had a several 4 packs of the Sofia, Matilda and Pepe nero that were already aged 1+ years, probably not by design. This was my go to liquor store when I was growing up in college and afterwards. As someone mentioned, the best you can do in the area

Ownership changed hands in past year and some more focus is on beer selection. Now starting to get more variety and trying to work with more distributors. Pretty much a six pack store. Recently began stocking North Coast Old Rasputin regularly and expanded Anchor Steam line and Rogue Dead Guy in addition to Mocha Porter. Mendocino Brewing, Flying Dog, Abita, Sierra Nevada (had Celebraion Ale on hand last week in addition to Tumbler and Stout, Pale Ale), Acme all on hand. Working on Bear Republic he says....

It's getting better...and defintely the only place in Natchitoches for good beer.

This is basically the only place I have found a decent selection of craft beer in Natchitoches. They have 3 coolers and a shelf of some decent offerings. I was able to find all of the Abita lineup, some Rogue, Flying Dog, North Coast, Sierra Nevada and a few other usual suspects. I have run into some older beer on the shelves here, but this is apparently a distributor problem as I have ran into the same thing in Shreveport and Alexandria where the store manager claims to have just received the product recently and it is actually already out of date. I have resorted to only buying long shelf life beers in northern La unless I can find a freshness date on the bottle.

The service at this place is good, they will order something for you if they do not carry it and can get it from the distro. Prices are quite reasonable and while the selection is not exactly fantastic, I think my score is a bit skewed since it is as good as it gets for miles around and is located in a small college/retirement type of community.

Bottom line is that if you are in need of good beer quick in Natchitoches, this is the place. But if you are staying awhile and have time to drive 55 miles to Hocus Pocus in Alexandria you will find a better selection and more rarities.
