I recently had the urge for some good pizza and decided to try out Pie In The Sky Pizza in Franklin, TN. Based upon the marvelous reviews I had seen on TripAdvisor and Google Local Listings I was really eager to get some great pizza. Upon arrival my wife and I felt quite hot inside the restaurant. I know it's the middle of the summer, but either the air conditioning was broken or they only apply it very sparsely. Due to the heat, we decided to grab a couple of drinks at what looked like a nice, big, bar. I ordered a Sam Adams draft and my wife ordered a Cosmopolitan. The head on my beer was 2/3rds of the mug and my wife's cosmopolitan was yellowish in color. I could not believe the bartender threw those drinks in front of us looking like they did and then disappear into the kitchen like he did. Unbelievable! We grabbed a booth, which was completely covered in crumbs and food debris which was scattered all over the floor of the entire restaurant. This must be due most likely to the facts that there were a ton of little children running around, screaming, and throwing pizza dough around. My wife was in awe as she witnessed the staff providing the pizza dough for children to throw. When the pizza arrived it was all dried out and the toppings skimpy. It gave my wife's taste-buds the impression she was eating (and I quote) "Hot cardboard with sweet ketchup!". The kicker was after such a huge disappointment our bill for one round of drinks and the medium Carnivore pizza was over $40 without tip. Do yourselves a favor and don't waste your hard earned money here. We won't ever again.
