Poured from the nitro can into a stout glass.
Pours standard stout nearly black with excellent head and lacing.
The aromas are evocative of the name, with citrus and roasted chocolate notes, but nothing special.
The brew tastes essentially like the name, but with a muddled chalky metallic taste.
The feel is medium with good carbonation and finish generally, but as the brew warms it gets ashy.
Meh.

Poured hard from a can into a Guinness glass, resulting in a finger of frothy nitro head that stuck around for the entire drink. Smells faintly of orange, but barely there. Taste is similar with malt background and a bit of orange and chocolate. Taste is very muted, would probably be better if it was at least twice as intense. Feel is creamy due to the nitro stout, but kinda thin. Similar to their PSL nitro stout, kinda *meh*.

I'll be the first to admit that I am usually down on these Nitro CANs, but it is because the nitrogenation kills the taste! 8=( That said, I had a really great N2 beer earlier & I am now just CANtinuing the trend ISO The CANQuest (tm).
From the N2 CAN: "Nitro Series"; "Nitro On the Go"; "Nitrogen Charged [-] Seasonal"; "Nitro On the Go"; "Chill at 42 (Deg.) F [-] Open and wait 5 sec [-] ENJOY!"; "No glass? No problem. Drink it straight from the can."
From the CAN? Sacrilege! I Crack!ed open the vent & although I wanted to follow directions, it beCAN foaming through the vent well before 5 seCANds had elapsed! Eeeek! I immediately went into emergency Glug mode & got things started. I watched in rapt fascination as the cascade occurred, slowly settling to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, deep-brown head with stunning retention. Color was Black/Opaque (SRM = 44), allowing ZERO light penetration. Nose was definitely chocolaty with a hint of smoke, but the orange was deeply layered. Hmm. Mouthfeel was full & creamy. Mmm. The taste was more chocolaty than orange & it was tough for me to decide whether that was due to brewing measures or to the N2 charge dissipating the flavor(s). This was a glaring example of my problem with Nitro-charged beers: you sacrifice flavor for mouthfeel. 8=( Finish was dry, interesting for a Chocolate Stout, but it was as if a Dry Stout had been its base. This one was more of a novelty drink & not worth a return visit. YMMV.

I drank mine form the can and it tasted very watered down, hardly any flavor came through. Next time i'll use a hard pour to see if that makes a difference.

Eh. I thought it would be good, but it's just OK. Nothing wrong with it, but below my expectations.

Pours dark brown with a tan cap that forms from the bottom. Leaves okay lacing. Aroma is weak, I pick up both the chocolate and orange. Flavor is no better than the aroma, weak. Nice feel, but overall a disappointing beer from a brewery that makes some decent beers.

well wrought. not something I'd buy again, but I'm glad I tried it. The orange accent is understated and I appreciated that aspect. I was fearful of domination.
