12 oz bottle. There’s a place on the lable for the bottled on date to be notched, but it’s not.

Dark brown with ruby hues. Thick tan head and nice lacing.

Aroma is vanilla cake and a touch of molasses.

Flavor is a lot like vanilla coke with some blackstrap molasses thrown in.

Ok, but I don’t think I could drink more than one.

It tastes like really smooth roasted malts and coffee with vanilla ice cream melted in, this stuff is awesome.

A: Body was one shade short of being black. That being said, dark brown capped with a light tan head that only appeared after a hard pour. What head there was disappear rather quickly to a ring around the glass and spotty island foam.

S: A decent aroma of toasted caramel malts, coffee, faint hints of vanilla (wished this was stronger), and a bit of sour funk (weird).

T: Right off the bat I get a sweet vanilla note with a bit of roasted malts. Dark chocolate, hints of coffee, caramel malts, slight slight hoppy bitterness (edge of my tongue), and a bit of candy sugar are all balanced on the palate. I really expected more.

M: Loads of carbonation, medium body, and a smooth & creamy texture.

D: Very disappointed in this beer. Has the potential to be very good, but it is definitely lacking in flavor and smell. I wouldn't get this again, nor would I recommend this to someone. A one time deal for sure.

Strange cardboard aftertaste. Not a keeper.

This one is black. Not much head, though. Good lacing.

The smell is a bit weak, but the vanilla is there hiding in some chocolatey malt.

The taste is very vanilla-forward. Great vanilla with some chocolate and a little metal. Too cold, perhaps?

Good mouthfeel, nice and creamy.

I think I'll be having this one again. It is a good one to finish the night.
