A little bit of a yawner. Didn't taste like a whole lot.

Won a mini keg of this in a raffle so I ended up drinking 1.3 gallons of this. A beautiful brown/orange/coppery color with an off-white head. Very malty aroma. Taste is malty with a bitter finish. Seemed to be heavy on the carbonation but that could be a result of the mini keg. Seemed to be light bodied for a winter warmer. Could have used some more body a some more spice.

Pours a very nice reddish brown. Smell is malty but taste is not smooth. A little metallic and not at rich as I would have liked. I like the idea and wished I could taste the caramel. I like the warmth but can't get into the taste. Not one I will look to repeat.

Ok, the label says malty...instead it should say hoppy. Almost no malty flavor comes through, typical overhopped craft type millennial beer. Nasty. Malty should have flavors of caramel, chocolate etc... instead this tastes like green grass. Actually you can smell the hops as you lift the glass. Probably wind up pouring the 5 other bottles in the sink. Won’t buy again.

This has a rich malty caramel / chocolate with a bit of toffee taste. I am a huge fan of these types of ales. This is easily an outstanding in my book. I do like the hoppy ones, but this is a great change of pace. Really good! Plus at around 8 bucks a 6 pack...hard to go wrong on this one.

Pours a dark, reddish brown. Not much of a head, but that's fine. It's a low-key winter warmer, compared to some. More of an interesting brown ale. I tasted the cookie dough, the caramel, and the hops to temper it all. A pleasant change of pace without tasting like someone drowned a Christmas cookie in my beer. I'd buy it again.

It pours a purpleish brown, clear and with hardly any head at all. The aroma is of raisins and dried fruit. The flavor is fairly mild and not very complex for most part. Not overly sweet and with bitterness that only shows up at the very end. Not as fully bodied as other winter warmers I've had before.

On tap in Atlanta.

Smooth, medium body with medium carbonation.

mahogany colored body with a very good off-white head.

Spicy aroma that correctly suggests that the the flavor may be a bit over spiced. Slightly bitter although lightly sweet up front.

Overall: ok but still disappointing.
