12oz brown bottle with no freshness date.

Sufficient amount of lacing, clarity and dark amber color look great though. Thick bready malt nose with only a slight hint of caramel and herbal hop. Creamy malt body with some smoothness, carbonation is at a moderate level here. Lots of bread, toasted and a bit sweet. Light raking of herbal hop levels the malt out a bit. Warming alcohol within lets only a small fume go in the breath. Malty finish that stay semi-dry.

A good rendition of the style, great to see another brewer take on this underrated style.

Clear copper brown pour with an off-white cap. Toasted malt and dulled caramel in the nose. Taste starts the same, even some earthy spiced hops to boot, but some metallic notes creep in a bit. Feel is malty and smooth to start, but starts to degrade through the sip, finish is watery in the middle and somewhat harsh on the edges.

Poured into a Nonic.

Pours dark amber with modest head but good lacing.

Aromas seem right. Lightly toasted malts and toffee with a little bit of grassy/earthy hop. Faint chocolate too.

The brew hits the tip of the tongue with caramel malt/toffee sweetness. And then hardly anything happens after that other than some booze.

The brew has a medium feel, but ends up being pretty sticky and flat.

It looks like a Bock. It smells like a Bock. It initially tastes like a Bock. And then, hm.

From old, undated notes. Poured from the bottle.

See-through dark ruby color.

Nice off-white head; strong lacing.

Smells of malt bread & slight strawberry (!). Not bad!

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Bread flavor with a nice strawberry undertones. A pleasant surprise.

Pandoras Bock pours hazy reddish chestnut under a thin off white foam cap. The nose and palate are nutty toasted malt, bread and a hint of caramel or kettle sugars. There are no big hop aromas or flavors but it finishes with an assertive hop bitterness.
