Notes:
Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

Served in a flared pokal at Bliss.
This stuff has always been interesting, but not enough for me to buy any. Thankfully, there are tastings at Bliss. It pours a cloudy straw topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises fake blueberry (think pretty much any blueberry wheat ale available on the market), dark wheat, light orange rind, and a dash of nutmeg. The taste holds notes of wheat, coriander, white grapes (lightly tart, and only just barely that), nutmeg, and grapefruit peel. A vague astringency lingers on the tongue. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta dry finish. Overall, I cannot say I was a fan of this beer. The agave nectar doesn't do much for it, and it comes off as astringent and medicinal regardless. Luckily, things aren't exactly offensive, either. Just not very good.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a cloudy golden color with a small head. Smell is mild, a touch of grains. Taste is also mild, the wheat is present, with some mild notes of agave. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and has good drinkability. Overall this is a fairly good beer.

look: 4 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3 | feel: 2.75 | overall: 3.5
Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance - best part of this beer. Yellow, somewhat hazy, decent head and lacing.
Smell - some lemon, yeast, wheat malt; it's okay, I guess.
Taste - average, fairly refreshing, but you can do better.
Feel - too light, weak carbonation for a beer so light, not very good
Overall - ho hum...I won't have again, but if you like the style, then the price point is good.
