Agave Wheat | Breckenridge Brewery. Poured from the can into a pint glass, this brew's got a three finger thick head, with spotty lacing, and a hazed medium golden amber body.

I smell, you've guessed it, agave mixed in with the traditional wheat ale elements.

The taste is actually a nice blend of the ingredients of this brew. The agave is nice and subtle, which lets the ale itself shine.

Medium-light mouthfeel with fair carbonation.

I'll go ahead and rate Agave Wheat | Breckenridge Brewery with a 4.25

Agave Wheat brewed by Breckenridge Brewery, with an ABV of 4.20% This brew pours out a nice cloudy golden amber color with a nice thick white head. The head to this brew sticks around for awhile, there is also a nice amount of lacing. The lacing sticks to the side of the glass well. There is a lot going on in the smell of this brew. You first pick up on mild spices and citrus flavors. Then a nice amount of grains and malts. The hops are there, they are a nice an mild. This brew is a really nice and inviting. Now for the taste, it is bold and rich with flavors. There is a real nice bitter sweet bite to this brew , the spices give this brew a nice touch. There is a lot going on in Agave Wheat, this is a nice smooth drinking brew. Agave Wheat has a super nice balance to it, there is nothing overpowering about this brew. The body of this brew is a mild Medium. I really enjoy how full and smooth this brew goes down. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm giving Agave Wheat a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again givin the chance to. If you are looking for something a little different look this brew up. Breckenridge Brewery, did a real nice job with this brew.

Hazy orange gold, unfiltered beer. Nice head at first, gone within 30 seconds. Spotty lacing on the sides. Yeasty, wheat smell (not too strong) with, and just a tiny note of, faint and pale type of fruit. Hard to pick up. Taste is so light it's also difficult to analyze. It is a light wheat, American yeast, grassy tasting ale. Really mellow, this is a beer you don't even think about or concentrate on. Sessionable would be an understatement. Doesn't even feel heavy in calories. Really not a bad beer. I don't think it deserves some of the horrible feedback; of course there are companies doing tastier, fuller, more complex, and more enjoyable beers. Maybe it's just the money people are upset about haha. The description of creative doesn't exactly fit either. This is a very simple beer. Buy it for your guests who don't have a developed pallet. I'm sure they'll thank you later.

Right off the bat, the pour is hella carbonated, with strange, quickly receding foam that reminds me of cheap beer. The taste is very crisp and refreshing, you have to try really hard to taste the slightly sweet and fruity taste of agave. It's quite drinkable, but lacking any expected uniqueness.

From the older can, it pours a hazy light amber with a modest head, reducing to a ring with islands. Some citrus (or agave) in the nose. In the mouth, it is lightly sweet, with grainy notes, and refreshing.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a decent looking hazy orange to gold color with a one finger white foamy head that died within less than thirty seconds. The lacing was slightly stringy. The smell was sweet citrus (little bit of lemon and orange) with a little bit of refreshing sweet grassy fruit (agave, I’m guessing). The taste was sweet and somewhat grassy. There’s a slight wheatiness to it. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a decent sessionable quality about it. There’s a slight refreshing long sweet texture accommodating this feel. Overall, first time I had this I didn’t like it, but this time, yeah, hit the spot.

I always like to try the fruit-infused beers and hope they are not too intense. This one is not intense enough, bery bready on the scent, even more so on the taste, but you can taste the agave. Color is light yellow and the head dissipates quickly. I expected more, a little disappointed.

This is one of those beers I've drank on occasion but never rated...so here we go. Very light colored and clear with a quickly receeding head. Scent is of bready malt with little else detectable. This is a very mild wheat beer but I like the agave in the flavor profile. Very drinkable and quite thin with a crisp finish.

I bought this as I just returned from Mexico City and had more tequila than I should have.
But I can say this: agave is better distilled than brewed.

12 oz bottle.

Look: hazy amber with a moderate size white head that has decent retention and leaves plenty of lacing.

Aroma: unappealing and musty but not unlike some other wheat beers.

Flavor: much better than the aroma. Citrus and agave notes with hints of bananas and honey.

Feel: medium light body with medium carbonation.
