12 oz.

Pours a mostly clear amber, white lacing.

Smells of mildly coppery bread-and-butter malts and notable sweetness from the agave.

Tastes of buttered bread and biscuits with agave sweetness that is mild.

Medium body with a light tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

This is a pretty good and highly sessionable ale. The agave goes over really well in my opinion. This beer is underrated, but I understand why as it is different and feels a little weird for a beer taste-wise. Personally I think this agave-flavored style has a future and I'd like to see more of it. I could see agave ales becoming a class of their own. It has a good malty sweet characteristic that isn't cloying and pairs well with biscuity malts while keeping a beer light and sessionable. Give it a try.

I picked this up as part of a build-your-own six pack for $9.99 at the Bloomingdale Binny's store, so $1.67 for a single 12oz bottle. No freshness date.

The beer poured a hazy golden yellow color with a 1½-finger off-white head with both good retention and good lacing.

The beer smelled mostly of wheat, but also had some fruit, spice, and some sweetness to it that wasn't your typical caramel smell (maybe from the agave).

The taste was mostly wheat flavored with a touch of clove and citrus. The taste also had some caramel sweetness to it along with something else sweet, which I guess is the agave. Very little hop presence at just 9 IBUs.

Very light body with a medium amount of carbpnation.

There's no WOW factotrhere, but it's very drinkable and refreshing.
