Thanks to my bro for gifting me a bottle of this.12oz poured into a snifter. The brew appears a copper orange with yellow around the edges. A tan finger of froth leaves parches of lace sticking to the glass.

The aroma has herbal hops with a bit of floral component and fruits coupled with minerals and sulfur. A bit of toasty grain is noticed mingled inbetween the hops. Overall not bad smelling.

The taste is mineral-filled with some bitter rindy fruit flavoring. Sulfur and cheese is there coupled with some toasty grain backing. A contrasting floral flavoring of hops lingers in the mouth. Unfortunately the main character throughout this brew though is minerals.

This is medium bodied and modestly carbonated. It is worth a try but not something I would return to if given choices.

Pours out to a good lathery white head and prominent lacing all the way down. Color was orange-amber and very cloudy. Lots of floating chunks in this one. Aroma is mostly floral and grassy hops, with a bit of citrus and pine along with it. Sweet malt, graham crackers and caramel also in the nose. Flavor is low-key for the style with the bitterness more balancing than bracing, the aforementioned aromas also translate to the tongue with some alcohol sweetness also. Mouthfeel is medium and "smooth" with some warmth and slickness from the alcohol and hops. Now some may say this is not much of a US IPA because it lacks the perceived high IBU's and grapefruit/pine assault. I say it is a very solid brew and worth having again.

Thought I'd experiment with a 6-pack I'd never had while visiting Imperial Nebraska for a wedding. I picked up this beer at a liquor store in Sterling. What a dissapointment to say the least.

No real flavor or smell to note except bready and earthy bitterness. Seriously, as if a Budweiser was given more hops to the recipe. No pine, No hop resin finish making you smack your lips with a smile, NO citrus period and No dankness. Just bitterness... which is fine but you need something...ANYTHING to go with it.

I did pick up some Pale 31 that was on the shelf next to it (which I've had plenty of before) and thank god I did..

Waste of $10

12oz bottle

A- Pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with an off-white head.

S- The aroma is malt and fresh leafy hops.

T- The taste is dominated by the hops. The hops create a nice bitterness, but more important the flavor created from the hops is really good.

M- The mouthfeel is light bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

O- Overall, I really enjoyed this IPA. Recommended!

A: Pours a orange and golden colored clear liquid into the glass. The head is uneven and about three fingers high before it slowly goes down to about one finger high leaving lots of lacings on the glass.

S: Floral hops, a hint of grapefruit, barley and some earthy tones. There is also a smell that resembles detergents.

T: Lots of grapefruit peel up front. But there is an earthy tone that quickly takes over before the grapefruit tones comes back again. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter. However, the tastes don't play well together in this one. Something feels a bit off.

M: Medium to Low carbonation, leaving almost no tickeling on the tongue. Medium body.

O: An IPA in the average range. Nothing spectacular, but it does it job.
