It's not a wheat beer or witbier as this page suggests. It's an ale.

Anyways, it's crystal clear light yellow in color, not much in froth. Smells quite beery with a hint of fruit. Taste is interesting on this one, like it needs a little more work but it's okay overall.

Poured out a somewhat cloudy, straw-yellow color with a small, white head. It smelled of lemon, citrus, yeast and some clove. It has a nice sweet wheat flavor with a lemony kick. It was crisp and sharp.

12 oz. bottle

Pours a slightly hazy lemon gold, slight white lacing for a head.

Smells of lemon citrus and sweet honey.

Tastes of cloyingly sweet honey, passionfruit, guava, and sweet citrus. Mild wheaty malt undertone.

Medium body with tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

A unique wit that doesn't really taste like a wit at all. Heavier body than you'd expect from the style. Flavor and aroma have a sweetness like too-ripe fruit with a honey effect, probably in part due to the thicker body. It's different and not bad, so it gets points for uniqueness, but overall strays a bit too far from the style and could stand to be toned down just a tad.

Served in a shaker pint glass at Bigby's Pour House.

Usually, this stuff doesn't appear to leave the Centennial State, but it's nice to have the chance to try a Buddha's Hand-infused beer here in the ILL. It pours a hazy straw-amber topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises light orange zest, very light biscuit, even lighter flowers and grass, and mild coriander. Something tells me that orange-y character is the Buddha's Hand, but I've never heard of the damn fruit before, so I have no idea what it smells like. The taste brings in more of the same, with a bit more of that apparently Buddhist citrus and a pinch of clove for the sake of it. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a rather pleasant little wit, even if nothing all that memorable, strange fruit or not.
