Breckenridge Brewery & Pub

 

 

We visited here on vacation, and it was conveniently about 100 ft from our hotel. I've never been a fan of their beers, and visiting their pub didn't improve that. We were quickly seated and then ignored for about 10 minutes, though they seemed to have plenty of staff and weren't very busy. After our drink order was in, we had to wait another 15 minutes. We ordered food and that took a while too. The food was good, the beer wasn't memorable, and the service was lacking that day.

On the main strip in Breck, this is an old school brewery that is hangin in there and churnin out a load of better then decent, but not really all that awesome beer (extensive list of their own creations)...several eating areas including some outdoor tables (we visited in the summer).

Friendly bartender who was programming the jammy and enjoyable music...typical bar food, burgers, sammies etc.

Worked in a pinch for some beers and a bite, but kind of an uninspiring place in general

 

 

Visited the brewpub with Da Boss on 8-28-18 for lunch and a beer or two. We last visited here in June 1998.

Vibe was pretty good, we sat out on the covered porch with a view of the parking lot. Overall the two story structure is fairly large and sprawling with lots of capacity for the throngs of visitors.

Quality of the beer was good. The stout was pretty good and the NE DIPA was very good. Da Boss enjoyed her Avalanche.

Service was solid. The server was highly organized and timely throughout our visit.

Selection of draft beers was maybe around 12 house beers plus cans and bottles were available.

The food was so-so. My elk meatloaf was overcooked and the wifes hamburger was nothing she raved about.

Overall the day was augmented by the stop here. Worthy of your time if you are in Breck.

 

 

 

Cool stop at the tail end of Breckenridge. Comfortable indoor/outdoor seating, modest bar area, small gift shop/shirt sale area. Maybe about 10 beers to choose from on tap, real good happy hour pricing. Can get sample sizes if that is your thing. The food was pretty good - typical pub fare. Service was efficient and the staff was very pleasant. Certainly worth checking out if you are in the mountains.

 

 

We've been here before, but this is the first time I've reviewed.

The place was very busy on a Friday afternoon. We found a quiet place on a sunny outdoor patio. Service was above average; our server regularly came by to check on us.

The selection covered their standards. Only one rotator on tap. That said, the Vanilla Porter on tap can't be beat. The Summer Lovin' Saison was excellent!

Just there to grab growlers and their bourbon barrel IPA was phenomenal and fresh from the draft tap. Since I was in a rush I got a growler of both their agave wheat and their bourbon barrel IPA. I recommend slicing a few oranges and dropping them in each glass of agave wheat served to family, friends, and yourself!
