Its Lee's discount liquor, so the choices are impressive, the decor, presentation etc. . . is not. Here, its the Rainbow Lee's so its about average for them. Discount beers in the front, beers in the way opposite far corner, a lot of them in coolers. Their six pack selection at this Lee's kind of sucks. Usual stuff, very few seasonals or rotating ones.

What isn't in the coolers is on one rack, some real old stuff. There were a few local, not well distributed ipa's from California they had that I would have taken a chance on had they not had dust on them. They carry a lot of undated bottles with dust on them.

This happened to be relatively close to Money Plays and the Orleans where I was staying on this trip to vegas, so I went ahead and checked it out, despite not having the best impression. Overall, it was worth it because I did in fact purchase some beers I hadn't seen before (but were far from prized or rare).

I picked up an old well known beer I liked, a 4 pack of Coronado Idiot IIPA ($10), a bomber of Tenaya Oatmeal Stout (Hauling Oats - a pun on Hall & Oates, my dad should like it as a xmas gift I guess) and then Three Monkeys IPA. I think it had Yosemite on the label or something. Why not. The bombers were $5-6 each.

Its pretty much like Ben's in Reno = Lee's in Vegas

Overall, nothing special, but I don't think there are any special bottle shops in Vegas. So, if you're in the area, why not, but otherwise, I'm sure you've seen most of what they have, so don't make a special trip.

As with all Lee's Liquor this one is hit or miss. I have been able to get some good finds here. If shopping here make sure to check dates as there is a lot of out of code beer here. I wont buy anything that isn't dated from Lee's Liquor. As far as the staff you can forget about any sort of help from them. I have asked alot of questions about what is on sale and they never know and usually refuse to check for you. The prices are usually good and I will usually stop in if I'm passing it but won't ever make a special trip to Lee's Liquor. There is much better options then Lee's Liquor for beer in Las Vegas.
