I’m not a huge Breck fan, I love the 471 IPA & ESB but nothing else excites me. I wrongly figured I could find some special beers here, especially during GABF week. Um, no. The only thing “new-to-me” was something called Thunderhead Stout (I think) and it was lame. I tried the Oatmeal Stout as well and it tasted off. The beer selection is way to standard, IMO, and not geared to the beer geek. I bet this place is rocking before and after Rockies games.

My first trip was 10:45 pm on the Friday of GABF 2007. Normally they stop serving food at 10:30 but, luckily, the kitchen was open until midnight. It took a long time to be seating because they kept tell us how busy they were. Yes, they were busy but they were not packed. It was not standing room only and there were open seats. Once we were seating our waiter was very inattentive and acted as if he had never had a big group to deal with. Fine, maybe he was a rookie. He never brought me a water I asked for 3 times and he never asked anybody for a second beer. Lame. At the time they were out of both 471 beers, bummer, but it was late at night during GABF. It was understandable.

Anyway. The food menu did nothing for me. I didn’t care for the variety and decided on the nachos, which turned out to be okay. Nobody in the group was wowed by the food but it was passable.

Still, decent food, average beer and lousy service are a poor first impression.

I came back the next morning for a special breakfast and our waiter was great and the breakfast buffet was very tasty. It must be noted that this was all free and everybody there was industry folk of some sort. Still, it was a much better visit.

I do like the look and feel of this place, big, raised bar area to the left. Ample seating throughout, the restaurant is one big room, loosely divided. TV scattered about. It was a warm restaurant with the bar aspect secondary but it worked well enough. As much as the décor and overall feel were positive I was not impressed with the beer or food. With other options in Denver I don’t foresee another visit under norm circumstances.

A beautiful place surrounded in brick and open, arched wood ceiling. Breckenridge beer is sub standard, but they have several other offerings. Not overly busy on a Thursday night. Nice friendly vibe with good result onsite people, but not real beer people.

5:30 on a Sunday right before a Rockies game finished. The place was about half full so we were offered immediate seating at the bar or dining area. We chose the dining area, which was quiet enough to talk.

The atmosphere is mostly sports bar/industrial -- a lot of TVs showing football games and the crowd was mostly younger bar types and middle aged sports types.

The tap list included a lot of Breckenridge brews as well as other Colorado offerings. Certainly couldn't try everything but we put a good dent in the list and everything was solid if not spectacular.

Service was good and the server was able to answer any questions we had regarding beers and made some recommendations about the food.

The food was good, mostly sandwiches, burgers, chili ... standard stuff and reasonably priced. Again, everything we had was fine.

Overall I enjoyed it. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to get here but would certainly go again if I were in the area.

Went here before catching a Rockies game recently as it is close and we needed food. The place was really really busy but our service was still pretty good. The selection is decent and the food was good (got a burger). The place really seems more like a sports bar or chain which felt a bit odd. You would half expect the servers to have flair.

This is a C rate option in Denver with so much else to see. I was there for two pints and both times I opted to order one of their guest taps. The environment was somewhat chain-like and cold. The service was actually quite good though, which was the lone bright spot for me.

Stopped here on July 3, 2015 with the wife. Got there at about 5pm for dinner. Turns out that the Zac Brown Band was playing Coors Field that night and they had part of the restaurant rented out and the bar and other tables were filling up. When the waitress came for drink orders, I asked if they did flights and she said they did, but not tonight because they were busy. I guess I should have come on another night.

Anyway, the tap selection is all Colorado, from Coors to Upslope, but nothing terrible rare or sought after. Plenty of Breckenridge on tap as expected. The food menu was the usual assortment of brew pub food, from burgers and fish and chips, to a good selection of other sandwiches and appetizers. The food was of good quality and reasonably priced.

The vibe of the place was a cross between a sports bar and a brew pub. Plenty of TV's hang around to entertain you. Service was just ok for the amount of people there.
