This beer was very very underwhelming. This beer does not qualify as a stout, maybe a lighter brown ale or a very light porter.
It pours tan/brown with a light white head. Mouthfeel was very thing and only marginally S'more flavored, if you tripled every ingredient in this beer, you might have something useful, but currently this is a very sad "stout".

Big Muddy Brewing "S'more Stout"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle coded "21:07 3501SP"
$2 @ Cherry Hill Liquor, Wine & Beer, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a clear dark mahogany brown body beneath a short head of yellowed-khaki colored foam. Unfortunately the head has already dropped to a standard collar. The aroma is brightly cocoa-ish, biscuity, and slightly fruity. The flavor is fuller but less cocoa-ish than the aroma suggests. It's sweetish with some vanilla, some soft golden caramel, a light touch of honey, and a suggestion of cinnamon. I find it kind of light in character for this kind of beer but on the other hand it's more drinkable than a richer and sweeter dessert beer. There's no bitterness to it that I can detect, and that's probably why it's labeled as a malt beverage. It still manages to finish dry, probably because it's fairly thin and the sweetish malt just doesn't stick around. in the mouth it's light-medium in body and smooth with a very moderate carbonation. That makes sense concerning the lack of head, as well as the fact that more C02 would introduce carbonic acid which probably isn't very welcome. I find it a bit lacking overall.

Single bottle copped from Wegmans in Hanover Township. Pours a jet black ebony hue with moderate frothing. Assertive aroma replete with notes of chocolate molasses and allspice. Good stuff. Recommended.

Look: Deep brown with a quickly dissipating head.
Smell: Marshmallow, chocolate, and some graham cracker notes.
Taste: A light chocolate and graham cracker taste with an interesting marshmallow finish.
Feel: Crisp and thin
Overall: A very interesting stout to say the least. I really appreciated the marshmallow finish and graham cracker notes, and feel this would do very well sitting around a campfire during fall.

Deep brown liquid, fairly thin for a stout, and no head to speak of. Not a positive visual. But damn, it does taste pretty good--vanilla, chocolate, a touch of graham cracker. Not a bad dessert beer. Nothing I'd come back to, but I'm slightly richer for the experience.

12 oz bottle, no date, into Parish purple logo stem.
Light brown caramel color forming into a medium to dark brown in the glass, fleeting head that dwindles to zero.
Aroma of Golden Grahams and marshmallows - like those little treats, and a hint of perfume and dirt.
Flavor brings mild cocoa, powdered caramel, brownie batter, rose water, graham cracker, hints of coconut, brown malt, nuts, and slight marshmallow. Finish is like if you mixed coffee and coconut into a Wild Cherry Pepsi. Pleasantly roasty.
Feel is crisp, light, roasty. Slightly clingy but only slightly. Lighter than it should be. No heat.
Overall, a bummer compared to the PBC and the Vanilla. Still not a bad beer though. I still like Big Muddy's flavor palette.

Twist off top pours a Deep brown. Mahogany. Tawny head. Smells of chocolate. Coconut vanilla. Some roasty malts. Taste follows. The marshmallow aspect is similar to moon pies snacks. Feel is light not sticky. It’s pretty well balanced as well with its acidity. It’s actually good. Reminds me of my early days of craft beer. Feels nostalgic the first time.

The last bottle of this beer had been sitting in the fridge for close to a year so I decided this Christmas Eve was a good time to quaff it. I'm writing this review in response to the #@%^+ review below me - under 2.0, really??? Gotta be kidding!
Anyway, tastes like a liquid s'more; sure it's a bit thin and has little carbonation but that makes it go down easier, haha. I drank it with and after an Arby's brisket sandwich, which I also recommend.
Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas to all who like this beer, not others!

12th review and it's not a good one. 2nd beer from Big Muddy. I rarely pan this deep, but please skip this beer!
a) Screw cap is not a good first sigh, followed by a coke like watery body, a greyish, short and shortlived limp head sans lacing.
s) dirty candy/ice cream store counter top?
t) About the same, perhaps a plastic dish with candy, icecream, marshmellow, sugary candies/chocolates rather than rich cacao ones.
f) thin to point of unforgivable.
o) Ditch this drain pour.

Look: Poured a dark brown to ruby color, very carbonated but the head disappeared almost immediately. Sitting in the glass the brew reminds me of a flat Coke, sort of watery.
Smell: The smell is pleasant, dark chocolate and graham crackers.
Taste: Tastes like unsweetened cocoa powder, the cheap kind. Sort of a Pepsi aftertaste with No hops whatsoever.
Mouthfeel: Light with no carbonation. Underwhelming.
Overall: I don't care for this beer. Maybe this is why I don’t like S’mores.

Black in color with a slight bit of light seeping through. There’s a fingernail of beige around the rim. I smell milk chocolate and marshmallow. I taste creamy milk chocolate and vanilla. The mouth is silky smooth.

Looks nice and dark and golden. Smell is quite nice! Taste is a let down it’s not rich or thick st all very easy to drink. Expect a stout to have more punch to it. Whatever flavor process was done to this beer was don’t way to little as it is weak. Wish it was done better as the slight taste is nice just needs to be more powerful!

This reminds me of a porter instead of a stout. It's very thin and has about 90% opacity when held towards the light. It's a much better version of the ShAkE chocolate porter IMO.

On tap. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of smoke, coffee and chocolate. Nice sweet chocolate with a hint of campfire smoke.

LOVE New Beer Sunday (NBS) with its inspiration to try something new & different each week. Today is NBS Week 672 & somehow, I am ensconced in S'mores. Strange.
From the bottle: "Malt beverage brewed with natural flavor".
I began to prise off the cap only to discover that it was another of these screwed-up screw-off caps! Grr. I took a deep breath before beginning a slow, gentle pour into the awaiting glass. Once sufficiently decanted, an in-glass swirl raised two-plus fingers of foamy, rocky, light-tan head with modest retention. Color was Dark brown to Very Dark Brown (SRM = > 27, < 34) with NE-quality clarity and mahogany highlights. Nose was super-sweet, super-chocolaty, more towards milk chocolate, plus a generalized sugary sweetness and with a pronounced biscuity maltiness. Phew! I am a hophead so this was delving into the deep end of the pool for me. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but light for this style. Taste was very chocolaty. sweet like milk chocolate, but tempered with a coconut-like flavor as well as the biscuity maltiness noted on the nose. Finish was likewise sweet. It was a decent beer, well within spec for the style, but for me, it was a one-and-done.

Bottle to snifter.
LOOK: pour looks thinning for a stout. Cola black-brown. Quick fading head.
AROMA: smells wonderful. Chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, plus a hinti of smoke that makes you think you are at the fire roasting your marshmallow on a whittled stick.
TASTE: tasty, but does not have the flavor that the aroma hints. Roasted barley and oatmeal outshines the chocolate or smoke.
FEEL: thin for a stout, low carbonation. Medium body.
OK. There are some things to like here, but ultimately poorly crafted. Easy drinking and tasty though.

This beer is pure garbage. Thinner than water and I didn't think that was possible. Almost looks like iced tea. Not sure how this is even called a stout. Then just a slight hint of a Smores at the back end but it's pathetic. I took one sip and drain poured the rest. Disgusting.

Decent flavored beer, would have given it a higher rating if it was called a tootsie roll stout... taste and smells more like a tootsie roll than s'mores. IMHO
Still...it's pretty good stout and worth a sip.
Had on tap, second beer out of the keg...very fresh.
