A small, but excellent little store, that also sells vegitabiles. Could be a bit hard to find, since this store does not at all look like a beer store, but just follow the address. Beer refrigerators cover most part of the right wall, when entering the store.
Very helpful and friendly staff, that also speak some english, and can be of help with beer recommendations.
Of course an excellent selection of Japanese micros, but also some imports. Also a good selection of sake, for those who are into that.
Highly recommended and well worth a visit, when in Kyoto !

How can such a small place that sells just as many vegetables, have hands down the best bottle selection I came across in my travels - puts the big Departo's to shame. Was put on to this place from Jun, the owner of Meno Mosso, and while unfortunately it was my last morning in Kyoto we did at least get to go once. On the right on side of the shop, is a wall of glass fronted fridges with an amazing array of Japanese beer; Baird, Shiga Kogen, Hakusekikan, Hitachino, Yo-Ho, Iwate Kura, many seasonal selections and so on and on, and on! Plenty of great sake as well. Was well taken care of, the owner made some suggestions and wrapped my bottles in newspaper. All I can say is buy the seasonals and go back frequently. Highly Reccommended!
