On tap @ Ladyface. Reviewed from notes.
A: Slightly hazy, pale yellow with 1 finger white head and some random lace.
N: Floral, citrus, some malt notes.
T: Similar to the nose with some piney resin and a notable nutty quality from the hemp seeds. Some balance from malt.
M: Medium body and good carbonation. Dry and bitter finish.
O: Not really that impressed with this one. The Cascade hops are nice, but there is just something a little odd here. Perhaps it's the hemp seeds. I just can't put my finger on it.

On tap at The Library in Santa Monica.
Light lemon orange pour with 2-fingers light cream head. Thin retention and medium lace.
Nice earthy citrus pine mix in the nose. Nothing too crazy, just a nice mix for a pale ale.
Orange peel hits the tongue. Dry hop finish just short of arid, again very nice for a pale. Mild bitters in the finish.
Medium body, but strong for the style.
Very easy drinker.

On-tap at Ladyface
A: The pour is a very pale yellow color with a light haze and a white head on top.
S: Smells rather faintly of citrus hops. There just really isn't much of an aroma to this beer. Sort of watery with a light malt/bread sweetness. Some hints of sweet fruit and maybe a floral note or two.
T: The flavor is just as bland. Mostly pale malt flavor, not much in the way of hop flavor, a little bit of bitterness and floral hop character. Sort of watery, maybe a touch of grass and lemon rind.
M: Light bodied with low to medium carbonation.
O: After the previous hoppy beer (the IPA), I was hoping this would be good. I was let down.

Look: Golden yellow with about a 1/4 inch head and ok retention with some circular lacing
Smell: Very muted scents in this guy. Hints of straw and just a hint of floral hops
Taste: Interesting floral/perfume note upfront with cascade hops on the backend end
Mouthfeel: Thin and good amount of carbonation and a bit dry
Overall: It is an ok pale ale but nothing to spectacular worth a try however.
