Dark golden, sorta amber, about a finger of frothy white head. Lacing and retention are both great.

Smell is pretty light. I get some citrus and floral notes.

Tastes of grapefruit, stone fruit, citrus, mild bitterness, malt presence is minimal.

Light, almost watery, carbonation is too low. Really wish this had more carb to amp up the body a bit.

Aside from the mouthfeel, pretty awesome. I'd really like to see more beers like this. Uber sesionable. Something I could just drink all Sunday afternoon, chillin.

On-tap at Ladyface Ale Companie, Agoura Hills, CA

A: The beer is crystal clear amber in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down and consistently left lots of lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of fresh floral hops are present in the nose along with some hints of citrusy hops.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell and has flavors of marigold flowers along with notes of citrusy hops towards the finish. A light amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite sessionable as it isn't too bitter or heavy on the palate but offers lots of hop aromas and flavors to keep things interesting.

On tap @ Ladyface the day it went on (10-6-11). From notes.

A: Clear, copperish amber with faint white head. Nice lace.

N: Oh, the hops. Floral, grapefruity citrus. Summit and Citra in here.

T: Dank and resiny. Fresh, wet juicy hops. Mildly bitter and dry finish.

M: Refreshingly clean and simple. A little thin, but at 3.9%, hey, have another.

O: Pretty good. A true session ale for the fall based on Chumash harvest time.
