Formerly Ladyface Ale Companie

Founded by local residents from Agoura Hills, Ladyface Brewery was established in late 2009. Ladyface is known for its award-winning Belgian, French, and American style ales. Trébuchet®, La Blonde, Chesebro IPA, Reyes Adobe Red, and Blue-Belly Barleywine—to name a few–are all brewed onsite. Ladyface is one of Los Angeles County’s first revival craft breweries, and the first microbrewery in the Conejo Valley.

Ladyface is my new favorite watering hole. I've been to a number of breweries, plenty of eateries, and plenty of places that are craft beer enthusiast, and Ladyface puts them all to shame. The beers are incredible and drinkable even for non-craft beer enthusiasts. I went with a group of 12 for my birthday, and we had a mixture of serious craft beer snobs mixed with people who enjoy craft beer but don't take it too seriously or consider it a hobby, and even a couple people who only drink the forbidden 'fizzy-yellow-beer.' Nobody in our group was disappointed in the (multiple) beers they had.

The food selection is excellent; I enjoyed both the mac and cheese (one of the best renditions of this classic comfort food I've ever had) and the pulled pork sliders with pommes frites. The pork sliders were tender, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. Sweet, savory, and just delicious. The only reason I didn't rate the food a perfect 5 is because I usually have high expectations with french fries, and these were just good fries (I know, I'm splitting hairs). One of our group ordered the pommes frites with harissa seasoning and blue cheese dipping sauce: that was an incredible combination which took the french fries from just "good" to "perfect."

The service was exceptional. Even with a big group, our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and overall just excellent. She became the honorary 13th member of our evening.

Speaking of service, I called two weeks prior to the visit to make a reservation for 12 people. When we arrived, even though they had 'lost' our reservation, they went out of their way to rearrange tables in order to accommodate us and we were seated immediately. Most restaurants would have told us to wait an hour and been unhelpful.

Prices are great. Most people in Los Angeles are probably used to what I call the Father's Office standard: paying $12-$15 for a burger and fries, and then $8 or $9 for a beer, which turns into quite the expensive night. Ladyface bucks the trend set by F.O. and Stout Burger and Umami and other popular eateries by offering lots of cheap food and cheap beer. $2 tasters, $5 glasses, and affordable growlers or pitchers. The food is especially cheap if you go for happy hour - perhaps the best deal in all of LA.

Ladyface was genuine, unique, delicious, fun, and - best of all - it was affordable.

Within the Los Angeles beer scene, there are only a handful of establishments that deserve to be labeled as a "destination". Somewhere every beverage enthusiast and foodie alike can add to their travel list and know that they will be getting a truly genuine and unique eating and drinking experience.

Ladyface is one of those places.

Nestled in the monotone desert known as The Valley, they provide a much-needed oasis of flavor and character that resembles not a palm tree encrusted spring, but a farmhouse in the French countryside. Specializing in farmhouse and Belgian-style beers with an accompanying European Bistro food selection that rivals many higher-priced locales within the city limits, this brewery exemplifies the concept of pairing food and drinks and will melt most, if not all the senses clean off your face. The idea that you can acquire steak tartare and a red wine barrel-aged quad for under $25 IN LOS ANGELES boggles my mind every time I look at their menu.

And yes, they do have an IPA regularly available as well...

Visited this place in my trip to Los Angeles. Very nice location at the Agoura Hills. Friendly staff and the food was nice. Nice selection of beers. I had a few of them and they were all above average. Would definitely visit again if I ever find myself in L.A

A great spot in a great location of Agoura Hills. The French-inspired cuisine is excellent, and the beer is solid and with good variety. In particular, if you like Belgians and/or Sours, this place is the spot. Service is good, and a nice chill location. Be sure to check this brewery off your local list!

Ladyface Ale Companie is located in a strip mall right off the 101 in Agoura Hills. Once you enter the premise it's a nice vibe. There's a bar area but lots of tables and seating area.

The person serving me today was very nice, friendly and quick. They had mostly their house beers which were very good with one guest beer (Avery). I purchased a flight which included a cask dubbel.

No food today, but looking around me, it looked tasty.

Enjoyed my visit today. I'll be back when in the area again.

UPDATED, 5/27/2019: I visited Ladyface after a round of golf and had lunch. The food was fantastic. I had braised short ribs with vegetables.

Beers weren't all that great and service was very, very slow even though they weren't very busy. The theme is unique but it didn't really feel like a brewery

One of the nicest breweries I have been too. Very impressed with the ambiance. A nice restaurant, a little pricey, but staff still very knowledgable of their beers which makes a good brewery to me. Glad I stopped in coming home from Santa Barbara to l.A. Great food, too!!

This place is really clean and easy going but I have had mixed experience with service
The servers do not know much about beer
The stuff they brew is decent enough I like the DIPA but do not get growler fills because so expensive I feel like $20+ for just the fill is too much
I have also had really rude bartenders and one time filled a growler and they tried to charge me too much and had to argue that I want the price listed on the board
The food is decent but once again pricey
i think this place caters to an older crowd who is not worried about overpaying I would rather frequent other spots more friendly to beer geeks
