I was in the area and had some time to kill so I stopped in. Located in a plaza with the Hannaford supermarket. I've never been this rough on the "atmosphere" before, but this place was really rubbing the wrong way. It's a decent sized store, and there is 1 row on the left dedicated to beer. I don't have an issue with this except the wine aisles are substantially wider. I was in the aisle just looking at beer. Now the cooler is to my back so everyone who's coming in to grab something cold, I need to compltely move out of the way for. Now I'm not the smallest guy in the world, but I'm not a giant, and I felt like a detour sign that people went through. Most stores put the coolers in the back, this store might benefit from that if it's possible, or atleast get a little more room on the left aisle. Ok I'm done with that rant. Everything is pretty well organized and stocked. I did check IPA dates or anything, but for the most part it seemed fresh. Service was good, a guy asked me a couple times if I needed help and even offered suggestions. I didn't take him up on any but I appriciated him taking the time. He was busy stocking beer but stopped what he was doing. I saw some newspaper clippings on the way out and I guess his name is Manny and he's the beer manager, so thanks Manny. The slection was decent, but doesn't run extreamly deep past the regular lineups that you can see in MA, certainly above your average store, but nothing to really go out of the way for. Sams, Harpoon, Sierra, North Coast, 21st, Firestone Walker, Boulevard, Otter Creek and long trail kinda skims the surface, but I think you get the point. All the prices seemed fair. A little out of the way for me so I probably won't be back, but if I did, it would be because of the customer service.

Great package store located in the Hannaford Market plaza near Middleboro High School. The beer selection here continues to get better and better. They carry Dogfish Head, Southern Tier, Maine Beer, Boulevard, Oskar Blues, Cisco, 21st Amendment, Grand Teton, Smuttynose, Firestone Walker, lots of Belgians, and much more. They also have a nice mix-a-six cooler stocked with a variety of decent beers where you can fill a sixer holder for just under $10. Manny is their beer guy and he will get you a special request beer if available. He also does beer tastings on Fridays. The prices are fair and comparable to similar good beer stores in the area. I recently picked up a DFH Squall for $11 and a 4-pack of Grand Teton Lost Continent DIPA for $9. The staff here is great -- always eager to help. Highly recommended beer store.
