Pours dark copper, almost brown with a generoud, rich, creamy, parchment coloured head and plentiful lacing. The head begins at about 4cm and settles to about 1.5. Aroma: Toffee, apricots, spice. Flavour: add raisins - the souce is now a more pronounced nutmeg, some gentle bitterness to prevent it from being cloying. Rich and full without being unduly heavy. A wonderfully balanced beer. Far more drinkable than its strength or complexity might suggest.

A sort of orange rust color, excellent feel with a lot of carbonation but doesn't get in the way. Almost champagne like carbonation and feel. Aroma was yeast, malt, fruit, and brown sugar. Taste was identical with just a small hop taste in the background. This is an excellent ale that I rank up there with some of the best

A good ale. Fit for a God.

OK, a bit pricy. For a celebration, or just show off.

Dark & heavy. Fruity with hints of caramel. Decent head. Nice aroma. Rich.

From a 750ml bottle dated 2015. Pours a dark red with a generous amount of head. Distinctive bready smell from the brett yeast. Foamy and smooth feel. Brown sugar and raisins with some bitterness. There's a sort of bitter and metallic aftertaste that is off-putting. Everything else is excellent.

Thin. Strong initial flavors that are kind of harsh this mellow on the tongue to a good flavor.

A friend gave this to me though I did like the apricot nutty taste the body was just very light, too light for me and the flavor seemed to be inconsistent with every sip.

Poured in a tulip glass slowly but still yielded large head that lasted well. Dark caramel colour of semi transparent goodness. Not much nose here fairly typical ale smell. Body was very good thanks fo ample nucleation throughout the drink. Great pick.
