This in house only breweries best beer is available less than half the time. Popular, rich, fresh, well balanced, consistent. Probably the only beer they make that would sell elsewhere.

Served really cold in a pint glass. Decent head but carbonation dissipates. Red amber in color, clear. In The Pub the board over the bar claims "hearty Irish Red Ale made with East Kent Goldings hops." Tastes like not much at all, but certainly inoffensive. There is a very odd minty or perfumey kind of taste. Some bitterness but not what you'd call hops to any extent.
I don't really know what's going on here but it seems to be beery enough. A truly odd place in the 21st Century and the chilled gulp seems to fit with the cigarette smoke. Here's lookin at ya!
