Brewed and bottled by Bricks and Barley Brewing Company in Steven's Point, Wisconsin. Served from bottle into glass at home. Pours pale gold in color, high clarity with full white head. Fairly meek aroma consisting of a simple indistinguishable hops and bread-like malt. Flavor primarily lightly caramelized malt and very muted simple earthy hops. Low bitterness. Thin mouthfeel with medium high carbonation. Overall this beer is reminiscent of a more flavorful macro lager, like a slightly more robust Miller High Life. Very drinkable but with little complexity.

Medium amber with a cover of foam dropping to a ring with some lace. Sniffer is letting me down on this one...It IS cold season..lol. Taste is mild combo of oily hops and slightly sweet malt in the background..Light/medium body with ample carbonation..Very good session APA on the cheap!

American pale ales can range from Sierra Nevada to Drake's 1500. This one is more like SN, or 805. Watery with a hint of citrus and pine, wouldn't buy again

Amber in color, slightly hazy, with a generous, clingy whitish-amber head. Had to work hard to find anything on the nose, but when I did, I found hints of violet and tropical fruit. Taste was similar to the smell. Not a lot going on. It’s balanced and doesn’t have much bite, but really nothing remarkable. Lingering, palate coating finish.

A thicker slightly bitter finish. The earthy hops carries through.

It is not of a particularly high quality, but for a beer of its quality it is surprisingly good. In the Kirkland Variety pack it definitely stood out, and was my favorite by far. The flavor doesn't necessarily stand out, but it is definitely good, if a little bland. It is very hoppy. anyway, not bad for what I was expecting in the Kirkland Variety pack.

Picked up a case of this at Costco. I think it was like $16 for 24 bottles. Why not. This one pours as a slightly darker srm than average for a pale ale. Its mostly yellow, a slight bit of caramel or amber color is seeping in though. 2/3" white head. Aroma lacks dry hopping. Significantly below average in that department.
After that, its pretty standard fare. Usual amounts of cascade hops, caramel malt body. Carbonation is well done, appropriate for style. Ultimately though, I would rather just pay the extra few bucks and get the vastly superior SNPA cases that are right next to this one. This is an underhopped pale ale. That is why it is slightly below average for style.

Purchased in a mixed case at Costco in Issaquah, WA. "Brewed & Bottled by Hopfen und Malz Brewing Co., San Jose, CA." Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
The beer is a light amber color, somewhat golden. The head is average but lingers quite a while. The carbonation is slightly greater than average, with fine, persistent bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass.
There is a good mouth feel; satisfying. The taste is smooth, without any hint of anything offensive, but as a result it errs a tad on the bland side, probably due to a little less hop character compared with other pale ales I really like (which of course are much better than average). The grain/malt character is pleasant but not particularly memorable.
Overall, a solid, fairly average, inoffensive pale ale at a great (Costco) price. Perfectly fine for partaking of at home.
