look: 3.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Appearance is murky, ruddy brown with a thin short collar leaving no lace.

Smell is acidic, lightly sweet, some raspberry, and blood. A little muddled.

Taste is tart, phenolic, I'm getting a really nice note of the raspberry, which is why I drank this right off the shelf from Gold Rush in Anchorage (not sure when it was released, but I bought it cold, tonight). The base Flanders Red is ok, iron rich, quick finish save for lingering lactic acid, which I like. Much less so acetic, but some of that as well.

Mouthfeel is dry, medium light bodied.

Drinkability is pretty good. Some of the classic Flanders notes, with a nice little back current from the raspberry (which I don't think will last with age), with an overall smoothness. Interesting as well. Nicely done.
