This seems like more of a casual dining restaurant than a brewpub, but we stopped by anyway for a drink. It was jammed on a Wednesday night at 7 PM, which was a little weird...but whatever. The bartenders were very friendly and took care of us very well. We each got one friend got their stout, which had the mouthfeel of Guinness, but with flavor. My other friend got their blueberry seasonal, which looked a little odd from when I saw the bartender getting seemed like she just took their light beer, put some blueberry syrup and blueberries in it, and served it. They may have done the same thing for my watermelon ale, which had a HUGE watermelon garnish on it. Regardless, it was solid....even if the flavor was just from the garnish as opposed to the beer itself. I'd like to come back again to try more beers and see what exactly is going on here.

Nice experience. Decent beer selection with the standards, seasonals and guest beers. Lots of menu choices available. Good food, attentive wait staff. Recommended!

I refuse to shop for cheap furniture while sober. Luckily, Baltimore's Ikea is adjacent to "The Avenue," a line of shops and restaurants that's like a bizarre combination of an outlet mall and those promenades they got outside of Universal Studios. Dead center of The Avenue there lies Red Brick Station, a venerable brewpub that's been around for at least 13 years, which is a long time by the standards of American craft beer.

Parking is scarce, but free. The building's facade looks like a regular chain restaurant that was built less than twenty years ago. There are big windows and a large patio beergarden where they play live music on weekends.

Inside, around 6 PM on a Friday, the place was asses to elbows packed. A table would have taken about an hour, but there were some seats the bar.

The bar's ambiance is that of a middle class sports bar. There are large TVs that play at low volume, a few dozen bottles of unexceptional liquor, and 6-8 house beers on tap.

The beers taste like they were made at a brewpub in the early 2000s. The styles were mostly conservative and English-influenced. Some had slight off nodes, such as a little bit of soapiness near the end, but all were drinkable. Beers are served in imperial pint glasses and cost only five bucks a pour, so there's nothing to complain about.

Overall, an okay place to stop if you're in the area. Not really worth seeking out, and you're probably not going to take any beers home with you, but it's all pretty good.

Red Brick Station is a short drive for me and not super expensive. For me the food is far superior to their beer. They make a really good Maryland crab cake. The place can get really crowded in the evenings because of its location next to a mall and being on an avenue type strip mall. The beers are ok, nothing spectacular. Tuesday is dollar beer night so you can try all their beers for about $6.00. Get there early though because it gets crowded quick.

This used to be my Tuesday night spot. Always a pretty good vibe, and the beer is not too bad. As others have said, it's mostly just typical pub food.

Pretty average place, very crowded for a tuesday night, later we found out why, not an outstanding beer selection, their homemade beers are ok, I have Daily crisis IPA and it scored a 3.35 for me, food nothing out of the ordinary but huge portions, good environment, service is not bad, not fast though but I understand for the amount of people. Overall I like the place, and for $1 a craft beer it's a must if you are in the area on a tuesday night. I'll come back.

I came back, after a year and a half, beer seleccion Has improved, I had the highlander heavy and I enjoyed it, food menu is not bad, service is average. Not bad for a couple of beers if you are around.

Pretty much straight 4's across the board. Food is good, but nothing special. Mostly typical Maryland pub/bar food. They had 4 or so year-round beers, and then typically have 2 or 3 seasonal/rotating beers. None of them will "wow" you, but they are definitely worth the try.

First visit to this place, I've seen their ads in Beer Rags for years. Strange location in a strip mall type place. First of all you absolutely have to be a fan of Ringwood yeast or you may be turned off by the beers (or think they are riddled with diacetyl). That said we had 2 beers each and were quite happy with them, reminded me of the old days when a lot of the Pugsley systems were prevalent here in the north east. Good quality traditional style British ales, not served too cold either. Food was average pub food, no problems here.

I arrived fairly early in the day, just a few minutes before noon; and was greeted at the door, showed to the bar and told where the bathroom was. When I sat at the bar it was only a short amount of time before the bartender was over. She was courteous and and explain the specials, the beers on tap and grabbing a menu and utensils. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which came quickly. It was very under impressive, but very inexpensive. Almost all lettuce, and only a few pieces of chicken and tomato. The beer was great, and the other customers in the bar were almost all funny older gentleman (all characters!). I got a pint glass to go which was wrapped extremely well in brown paper and in a bag, most places just toss you a glass and not breaking it is up you. I walked away very happy but only to go back for beer and give them a second chance with a dinner entree. The other lunches I saw around me looked unimpressive but everyone deserves a second chance.

This is my regular place, I love RBS.

A- Average restaurant atmosphere with a fire station sort-of theme. Lots of open space, not really my style but it's still nice.

Q- See selection.

S- Sitting at the bar theres never an issue, table service in the bar area can be slow if it's busy. Never sat in the regular dining room.

These guys get a 5 for service because they give great deals on kegs for my kegerator, and just treat regular customers very well.

S- Average only because, being a microbrewery, they only serve what's made on-site and a few "guest" beers. But thought the selection is less, the quality of what they serve is very good.

F- I LITERALLY have never gotten a single menu item here that I did not like, and only a couple of times have gotten something I didn't think was awesome. This isn't standard pub-grub, everything is good. Highly recommend the beer-battered chicken tenders, red-hot burger, and bread pudding or banana creme brulee.
