From Belgiuminabox. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 5. Really good as a fruit beer. The berries notes are very tasty and natural, never becoming tiresom, and has a good feel, thick for the abv

On tap at Bruges Beer Museum.

Pours a deep red with pink foam.

Smell is very fruity, pretty much like strawberry sorbet.

Taste is that same sorbet, with some raspberries and currants sprinkled in. A little bit of acidity, but pretty sweet.

Mouthfeel is thin and bybbly.

Overall, a very refreshing beer, and probably a good entry point into sour beer.

Poured into flute.
Pours ruby red, slightly hazy beer with pink head, good volume and retention.
Smell - red berries.
Taste - moderately sour, balanced by sweetness, cranberries, woody notes.
Light body, soft carbonation.
Good to some reasonable margines.

Beautiful to look at with the bright pink color, this is a light and refreshing fruit beer.

If you have the opportunity to have this on draft it usually comes in one of the most unique glasses I've seen. Circular at the base and rising to a wide oval mouth.

Deep ruby red, fizzy head, short lived.
Modest aromas, taste is all cherry menthol, tinned strawberries, a little sour, a little sweet.
Light and fizzy, zesty, light beer.

25cl bottle served in a little plastic Holiday Inn glass at a hotel in Paris. Date on the bottle is 08.04.15 -- seems to mean, "Consume by".

Pours cloudy brown-red with a little white head, moderately carbonated. Smell is sweet, strawberry.

Taste is very sweet and a little tart. Cherry and strawberry. Good, but almost in a soda kind of way. Same class as Mort Subite, but much better.

Mouthfeel is light and effervescent. Overall, not bad.

More ruby colored than the classic Rodenbach's dusky garnet, with just a wisp of white head. Raspberry tart and cherry pie smells, sugar with a hint of cinnamon, restrained. More pie in the taste, thin raspberry and cherry, some apricot flavors (not on the list of fruits added: sour cherry, raspberry and cranberry). A hint of the cranberry seems to appear in place of the foudre-type woody sourness. It feels a bit slick, with a touch of carbonation, and an after-feel bringing a bit of Rodenbach pucker. On the whole, it's a slightly rather than aggressively fruited up take on the classic, but not more refreshing.
