Their beer list wasn't updated and everything i asked for was floated or no longer available. Pizza is okay though.

A must try if you're in Savannah. The pizzas are excellent, a great beer and wine list and the atmosphere is something out of a Hunter S. Thompson acid trip. Large mushroom statues, melting pizza paintings, it is a trip.

We were here on a Saturday, and it was pretty packed by about 1:30. We would've had to wait for a table, but my brother and I decided to just sit at the bar, since we were there for some pizza and beers.

There are around 15-20 taps, though there are many that seem to be pleasing the regular crowd, rather than the micro crowd. Some imports too, but the normal ones. A few Terrapin brews, Sweetwater 420 (a staple at almost every bar). There's enough to choose from, and in the corner, by the taps, there are many cold bottles, but I wasn't going nuts over the selection.

The place is big, with a ton of tables, lots of weird-looking mushrooms on the wall, and the bar stretches across a corner has about 12-15 seats I'd say, maybe a few more.

The pizza was definitely good, and I'd get it again. We got the Gourmet White, which I'd suggest.

Overall, I'd go back for lunch and a few beers, but I think there's a reason that they're known more for the pizza than the brews.

This is probably my least favorite of all of the Mellow Mushrooms I have had the pleasure of visiting. The atmosphere is void and filled with insouciance (as are most MM). An L shaped bar at the back right of the establishment is blanketed with tv's and video games. A small cooler for bottles and a bank of draft about 20 or so deep. The selection was absolutely pedestrian and unexceptional. Drafts were the following: 1554, Bass, Blue Moon, Bogart, Brooklyn Lager, DFH 60min, Fat Tire, Guinnes, Hoegarden, Killians, Magic Hat 9, Miller Lite, Seirra Nevada Pale, Stella Artois, STrongbow, Sunset Wheat, Sweetwater 420, Terrapin Rye and Sunray, Yuengling, and Bud Light. The only bottles of note were Heavy Seas, Ruination, and Brooklyn IPA. I guess for Savannah it isnt bad, but for just about anywhere else, this is not a very good selection.

The service was pretty good. I just had one beer so minimal effort and intelligence were required. I dont know if I would come back here again. With a decent brewpub a 10minute walk from here, I think I would choose Moon River first.

A: Fun, eclectic atmosphere that made me feel like drinking good beer and smoking good weed. Oh, and eating pizza, too, I suppose.

Q: Pretty good overall, but not an overwhelmingly impressive concentration of top-notch brews. I recall DFH (60 min), New Belgium (1554 and Fat Tire), and Terrapin (Rye Pale Ale) among others. Nothing mindblowing, but plenty of drinkable options.

Ser: Friendly and knowledgeable, but not the most attentive.

Sel: Solid array, with decent craft offerings in pretty much every style.

Food: My pizza was good (which is high praise from me, since living in New Haven has spoiled me to the point of hating 90% of the pizza I eat elsewhere), and my wife loved the results of their build-your-own salad option. Good meal.

Notes: A strong branch of a strong chain, I'd recommend this place if you're in Savannah and want a safe bet for dinner. There are definitely better places to go, but the Mellow Mushroom shouldn't disappoint.
