22oz bomber poured into a pint glass. Deep golden-amber coloring with a low head that dissipated quickly, leaving minimal lacing. It smelled clean and refreshing, almost like soap. Mouthfeel was light-bodied but well-rounded, with a pleasant citrus aftertaste that lingered.

I like this one. Very drinkable, with a big citrus hit in the beginning, then a hoppy-lemon main course. The finish was sharp and clean. This would be a great summer session brew, one which I would definitely buy again.

Nutty, Bready, Yeast, Gummy

Both Honey Malt and honey produced in Missouri lend an obvious name to this brew. The malt character does well throughout with bready and nutty tones though the yeast throws down pretty heavy with funk and a faint medicinal tone. Was hoping for this one to pop a bit more, a little more crispness and dryness would elevate this beer to quaffable heights.

Golden brown colored beer. Moderate to heavy foam on the pour with pretty solid head retention. Some light does penetrate the coloring. Strong aroma of wheat in the aroma and I also am able to get a whiff of honey. On the front of the palate I get wheat and then a strong burst of a cloying citrus like flavor that fades and burns away. I think it is actually honey, but would not have guessed that if I had not seen the bottle. Mouthfeel is a bit heated and that slight burn on the tongue isn't desirable.

It started out really good, kind of like a hefeweizen but with a large honey and orange presence. The more I drank it though, the less I liked it. Still good, but nothing to rave about by the end. I think because the honey, orange, and orange zest flavors seemed too artificial.

Pours a cloudy, golden color in the upper half of the glass the fades into a copper color along the bottom. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, spice (coriander), slight citrus, and very slight honey. Fits the style of a Hefeweizen. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, yeast, spice, and slight citrus. Overall, the best offering from Six Row, that I've had. Good blend, nice body, refreshing, and crisp. Not really picking up any honey, though.

Served this unfiltered Hefeweizen at the brewery, on tap in a pint glass. This ale poured a hazy copper color. Produced a thin white head, average head retention, excellent lacing left on the glass. Aroma was built on soft wheat, honey and some spice. The brewery sates that the honey was harvested in the beautiful Honey Mecca of Florissant Missouri. :-/ Good session beer, nice summer beer, light body and has a slightly sweet and bitter hop finish.

I suppose it's okay for what it is but it just wasn't my style.

On-tap at the bar serving local beer in STL airport, thanks to a flight delay. Tasted 24 June 2014.

Pours a bit hazy, the color of dark honey (though maybe that's the name influencing me). Brought with one finger of whitish lacing. Good retention, excellent lacing. Nice.

Smell is warm and sweet - a little more honey presence than I really want, as it dominates everything and smells rather like mead.

Taste is fine. Sorta hard to describe, but it's mostly straight, mildly bitter, and just bland. There's not all that much to latch onto. Even the honey is muted. Only the faintest hint of yeast.

Feel is okay. Has an odd slick quality that, combined with that mild bitterness, makes for a weird twang.

A meh beer. Nothing bad about it, but not much good that I have to say about it either.

A: Hazy, light amber. Nice head retention, great lace windows.

S: Nice malts, spice ( corriander ), yeasty, sweet.

T: Follows nose, no hefe trademark bananna.

M: light, coats mouth with a light sweetness.

D: Another nice brew from the new guys on the block. This will be a great summer beer, while sitting outside, people watching on the boulevard. For a young group, they are doing a nice job here.
