Cloudy golden color with white head. Floral, earthy and rustic aroma with some tart fruit notes. Taste is sour, a bit astringent with unripe fruits and some floral yeast funk.

From what I can tell, there were historically some off bottles (or batches?) of this beer. Particularly the 750s. This was a 2016 375 and it was quite nice. Vinous - like a more mineral sauvignon blanc, unripe pears, almost saline, oaky, hint of brett funkiness in the back. Finishes dry but with an impression of sweetness from the fruit notes. Feels crisp, well carbonated, long clean finish.

Some white foam on vigorous pouring. Light body with modest carbonation. Quite salty. A fruity acidic nose rather than the vinegar smell. Tart rather than sour on the tongue. A touch of malt.
Some fruity pear flavor followed by a mineral taste. Not as much of the Brett character as most beers that use the fungus. Quite drinkable but I don't see the attraction for this, especially at fifteen bucks. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Beer Revolution in Oakland.
