On nitro at Blue Palms
A: The pour is a very dark brown color with a small off-white head.
S: Oak definitely comes through on the nose. There's a decent hint of vanilla and a very mild bourbon (probably because it wasn't a full barrel aging treatment). Somewhat mild roast with a decent toastiness. Light toffee and nuttiness.
T: The flavor is quite watery, though on nitro, that doesn't surprise me. It has light toasted malt flavors with a fair bit of toffee. Still some vanilla, and more oak, with just a hint of toasted nuts.
M: Very thin in body with a smooth nitro carbonation.
O: Disappointing. Thin and watery without much substance as far as flavor goes.
