Appearance: Thin lacing but still clings to the glass here and there, bright pale copper hue glows as the light hits it.

Smell: Apple skin, earthy yeast, herbal phenols and a grassy back ground give a handful of the nose to show some dominance.

Taste: Touch grassy, traits of apple skin and fruitiness to begin with. Clean bitterness balances in the middle, faintness of cotton candy and medicinal phenols pop up. Grainy finish with a drawing to yeast and more lingering phenols.

Mouthfeel: Light popping crispness in a moderate body riding a creamy backing shows a well put together bottle conditioning.

Drinkability & Notes: Invigorating, incredibly drinkable and appetizing at that. Certainly a brew that I would go back to and gladly drink all night.

Orange colour with a decent head of foam that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Smell of earth, grass and yeast, although it's a tad weak. The taste is quite malty for a belgian blond, with some fresh (not really bitter) hop flavour in the aftertaste. There is a light fruity flavour (pear/peach), but overall the esters tend to stay in the background: the malt is dominating. This beer reminds me of a Leffe blond actually: very drinkable, but also quite boring. Since this one is sold at the Aldi discount supermarket, it might be worth the effort to take a trip there for bargain hunting Leffe lovers out here.
