Bottle: Poured a clear golden color lambic with no carbonation. Aroma of sour notes with some oak, funky barnyard notes with subtle nectarine notes. Taste is also a mix of sour notes with some subtle nectarine notes, some oak, barnyard funk with light acidic notes. Body is about average with no carbonation. Enjoyable lambic even though nectarine notes don’t come out as much as I was expecting.

Bottom line is that there is a mild lambic funk and mustiness on the nose and palate, but the palate is mainly the nectarine juice that hits on the backend. The body is lighter medium, a bit undercarbonated, but the nectarine flavours hit the tongue halfway through and set up camp, giving out waves and waves of yummy nectarine flavours. Mild acetic tartness, light funk, medium-lighter body and carbonation.

750ml bottle 23 Euros. bright yellow color. Aroma has some sweet nectarines in the back. They are also present in the flavor but subtle. The base lambic is pretty sour or my tastes. Interesting but not one I will revisit.

2016 bottling appears a hazy golden color with a quick fading white top.

Pleasant aroma of peach/nectarine skin and juice with yogurt and lemony lacto meets an earthy brett aspect and oakiness.

This tastes tart with fuzzy peach/nectarine juiciness, lemony lacto, stale grain and greek yogurt. A very nice lambic base with awesome fruit inclusion.

This is light in body and modestly carbonated. Absolutely fantastic stuff that far exceeded my expectations.

Golden orange color. Very little white head.

Juicy nectarine and stone fruit flavor. Sour and tart. Lemon citrus. More sour than the jonge nectarine that Karel poured for us earlier in the week at the brewery. Acidic. Light lambic funk shows in the finish.

Light bodied. Low carbonation.

A very nice beer!

This bottle was still. No pop to the cork. Odd. This bottle was very sour and tart. Mouthpuckering. Lots of stone fruit. Has a big funk flavor that I didn't notice in the other bottle I had. Almost like a moldy cheese. It went away a little after the beer opened up a bit. Yogurt flavors as it warms. 4.15

This was the clear winner. An amazing nutty flavor with fresh apricots. Funky and fruity. Soft feel with a yogurt flavor. Citrusy. This was complex, drinkable, and flavorful. 4.75

Trey, you are a bad person for sending me one. Why only one? 2016 vintage

The first pour is clear, light amber and is capped with a dense, white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing. The nose is aggressive DeCam funk, earthy, mushroomy, petrichor, prominently lactic with preserved lemons, a little bit of mineral-y white wine and of course, nectarines. Now, unlike AWAs brewed with nectarines which focus on the flavors that ripe fruit bring, this beer is unafraid to include a raw, semi-ripe fruit note. What this does is allow the mildly tannic note of a not wholly ripe nectarine to blend seamlessly with the oak tannins of the base lambic. Harmoniously integrated, focused and confident, this beer has a remarkable nose. The palate is dominated by the base lambic, sour with a blend of preserved lemons, a little sherry, a prominent lactic note before seamlessly blending into the raw fruit/nectarine flavors. Floral, semi-ripe, mildly tannic nectarine and peaches, with a touch of pit tannins present, this is excellent. Great funk character is present here, along with a nice orange peel flavor. The mid-palate has a noticeable vinous note, with a touch of vanilla, honey, white grapes and mineral. Drying, tannic and sour on the finish with a lingering fruit flavor along with sour lemons. Confident and inspired, this is highly recommended.

750 mL bottle. Pours clear orange with no head. Smells of some light vinegar, lactic acid, and stone fruit. Tastes of yogurt tartness with an immediate build into vinegar sourness. Stone fruit up front and in the back end. Grainy malt. No carbonation. Medium light. Tasty, but aggressively sour with just a little too much vinegar flavor to be really good.

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Hazy yellow with a white head. Notes of lambic funk, very sour, apples, pears, barnyard. Medium body, high carbonation and a sour finish.

Thanks Nick!

Hazy yellow body with a small, white collar. Aromas of funky lemon, citrus rind. Alternating flavors of sweet and tart. Orange / nectarine character shines through in the flavor. Bold and assertive. Nice.

Nose is somewhat pleasant with funk and citrus. Zero carbonation. Way too acidic for me. Could barely finish about 4 oz. I much prefer all of their other offerings.
