On tap at the 4P Brewery

This is quite possibly the most cloudy Hefe I have ever seen. Fluffly head, very cloudy, milky lemonade in color.
Banana and hefe yeast aromas are dominant. Appropriatte hefe flavors, but seems low carb and overly yeasty for a true Hefe. I know, I know Hefes are yeasty, but this one tastes like it came straight from the primary... on day 1!

Seems like it has some good potential, almost good but seems young, not impressed.

I think this may have been the bottom of the keg sediment, or maybe served to young. I followed up with the bartender and he said it seemed normal. If so, this one is not for me (and I love Hefes). Maybe I will try it another time if I visit again. Worst FP offering to date IMO.

I noticed it looked the same later in the week at the restuarant, I dont know, I am sort of turned off by this one.

I will stick with one of the other 7 fine offerings, most definelty the Hop Knot!

On tap at Frog and Firkin. Has a bright yellow appearance, hazy, but less cloudiness than your average Hefe. The head is a bit small though they did not serve it in a proper glass which didn't leave enough space. Carbonation looks average. The aroma seems a bit weak, I don't much except some light yeast notes and some lemon fruit.

The taste has a mild yeasty and bready character. There are also some notes of lemon citrus. There really isn't much phenolic spice at all, no banana flavors. Disappointing. The mouthfeel lacks the creaminess of a good Hefe. It has decent carbonation but still not on par with style.

This beer still maintained some drinkablity, perhaps due to the fact it was nearly 100 degrees outside. It is not a great example of the style, however. Not recommended.

(Draught Only):
A lightly chill hazed golden amber color on the pour, the head is average in size, the color a bright white, the texture creamy and as it erodes a fine sheet of lace is left behind to seal the glass. Nose is sweetly malt, crisp and fresh with just a slight hint of the wheat; start is quite sweet, top a bit thin. Finish is mildly carbonated the hops present and understated, dry aftertaste. Drinkable and refreshing in this dry and dusty desert, makes a fine “session” beer, and is brewed year-round, meant for the lighter is better crowd, not that there is a thing wrong with that, just doesn’t do a thing for me.

On tap at Casey Moore
Poured a golden color with a slight haze with a small white head. Unimpressive. Nose was rather light and flowery, with slight hints of citrus and clove but not to appealing or convincing.
Taste is light, wheat and minimal banana. The mouthfeel was crisp and had a slight bite.
Not an outstanding hefeweizen, but drinkable.
