I gave the atmosphere of this brewpub only a slightly above average rating because it depends on when you go. If you go when they are not busy and sit outside with good weather, then it is relaxing and enjoyable to drink here. However, if you go on a busy night when all the ASU students are there, then it is very loud, crowded, and many of them will act boorishly toward you.

The quality of the beer and food is very good. The beer is brewed there, and the food is cooked when ordered.

The service here is ok, but not as good as other places since it is so large. The waiters are all of the college age and are fairly nice when waiting your table.

The selection of beer is very good as it is all brewed there. They have about 10 taps: 8 of them are regulars and 1 or 2 are for seasonal brews. I've drank many of the regulars and enjoyed them.

The menu contains a variety of foods from the expected bar foods to some healthier items. The foods I've eaten here were all delicious.

Four Peaks has a good overall value as it follows similar pricing as other places I've been to. The beers and food cost more than I think they should, but the prices are reasonable since the food and drinks are made at the brewpub.

Overall, if you go to Four Peaks at the right time of the week and day, it is an enjoyable experience.

I'm typically a little leery when it comes to breweries that are, at face value, more eatery than brewery. If its not located in some industrial park next to a welder and a some sort of nondescript importer store front, then I feel uneasy. Overall the brew pub vibe wasnt bad but it just had that "this place gets sh*t packed on a Friday night" sort of vibe to it. Service was friendly and I actually found myself enjoying the beer. The Kilt Lifter was my favorite but since we're in the season, I also went for the Pumpkin Ale. Both beers were mellow but in a good way; I could've sipped either all day. Not bad, 4 peaks....not bad at all.

This place was eh...The atmosphere was pretty weak, the beers were pretty weak and the service was average. Prices for a flight were pretty good. Would definitely never come back here because of their beers.

Kinda busy and crowded, but still okay. Had the barrel aged KiltLifter (awesome) and the fish and chips for dinner. Took home a growler of schwarzbier, which was also pretty fine. Recommended stop in Phoenix.

One of my go-to's! Fresh cold beer, delicious food, friendly crowd, great atmosphere, and a great local company with an interesting history. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, bar space, and TV's. Despite its fairly close proximity to Arizona State University, students don't frequent very often (which is a plus in my opinion).

Exceptional beers and food. Well known for Kilt Lifter that is widely distributed, but don't miss Hop Knot which is a good APA. The selection here is good and every beer sampled has been worthwhile.

I visited Four Peaks back in 2008 for the UGA at ASU game. It was an oasis, and the beer was great. The only place in Tempe I long to visit again, especially with Montis gone.

My favorite brewpub in the Phoenix area that I tried. Excellent beer and food, and a nice spot to sit out on the patio. Highly recommend.
